“Came in for balloons for a birthday party. The staff were super patient and professional, explaining our options between buying our own helium tank or having them inflate them. Chose some balloons from the buckets, for pickup the next day at a designated time slot. They phoned when ready early, and everything was exactly as discussed. Some were even still floating strong after a full month!!”

“The store is fairly organized but I think it needs more signage showing where things are, and some more staff. The staff are clearly tired and it’s hard to find specific things without going into multiple aisles. On top of that, some of them are pretty rude. I mean whatever, it’s a Dollarama. The prices are low enough to justify not spending $ on training reps or overhiring.”
“The mission on a Saturday night was to find candles - for a friend's art project. So off we went around and around to look for them.
I approached a young lady who worked there and although she was difficult to understand initially, she directed us to the birthday candles - Aisle 3? Not what we were looking for - we were looking for the candles that you'd put on a mantle. Lo and behold she was there waiting for us at the candles' section to make sure we found what we were looking for.
So hat's off to this young lady who was ever so helpful. I didn't expect to get any help at all at a Dollarama.

“It’s a huge store that carry a large household needs including tools. Friendly staff who would direct you to the aisle for your items. It’s located indoors and steps away from Metro. Give it a try, I did.”

“I always have a good experience at this store. My only complaint is that it’s often very busy, and the staff are frequently restocking shelves, which sometimes blocks the aisles and makes it difficult to navigate, especially with a cart. Ideally, for a smaller store with high customer traffic, restocking could be done outside of regular operating hours to make shopping more comfortable.”
