The location of this store makes it easily accessible by bus and car or even by foot for those living close by. However, when the store is out of something, it takes days for them to restock. Plus they don't accept any kinds of returns or exchanges, which makes sense given the economic prices. It's an overall good store and my go-to, but just like the other Dollaramas, nothing costs a dollar anymore. It should be called the 5-dollar store.”

“Dollarama is not really a dollar store anymore. It reminds me of 5 Below from the states. In this economy a true dollarstore is but a dream.That being said, this store has gone through several changes over the years and at present it is for the better. The aisles are always clean and uncluttered unless staff are restocking shelves.For the most part the clerks on the ground are pleasantTruth be told it also depends on the day. I've had a few grumpy clerks myself but I've never let their lack of enthusiasm damper my spirit.Many years ago the store started carrying Betty Crocker utensils and gadgets and I bought a few pieces and they still hold up today. So much so that this is where I have been slowly replacing all my older kitchen tools from.A one stop stop for many household items especially those pn a limited budget.The prices have gone up but the quality of the products the store carries have also gone up. “This is a a jam packed dollar store with tons of random stuff. I go here when I can't find what I'm looking for in Dollarama. Some of the isles are pretty tight with stuff. Staff is polite and there's tons of parking spaces. It can get pretty full because of the local grocery store beside it.”

“We recently built a garden shed and I had purchased a rather large padlock with a protective shell over the shackle. I needed two additional keys made for my family. After visiting several large box stores, including a local Home Depot, I was out of luck of getting my keys copied (none of them had the correct profile of the blanks). While at Home Depot, 4 people recommended the Golden Dollar (2 staff and 2 customers) which made me chuckle as this is not something you encounter everyday. Either, many people who buy similar padlocks with a similar type of keys or this was a glitch in the matrix but it left me confounded with this event. We were now forced to drive to the Golden Dollar in order to see this exquisite cosmic force of cutting difficult key copies.Well, I must say to all those people who recommended the Golden Dollar; You were absolutely correct. The owner (my apology as I did not get his name) had spent probably 30 minutes in transforming (removing a half of a shoulder and shortening the blade) the copies before cutting the keys. Such dedication and professionalism require a huge thank you to the gentleman who helped me with the keys. And, I am sorry to have taken time away from your lunch.P.S. If I am ever in another store where a stranger is stuck locating a great key cutting service, I will tell them to go to the Golden Dollar.”
