After discussing the issue with her, a mechanic and a colleague recommended applying WD-40 to specific areas. I followed their guidance, and the door closed properly.

“We always get our Christmas tree there. They have trees for tots so they will pick up the tree and 15 dollars goes to a charity. The young man is sp patient and helpful. My son is in a wheelchair and every year he looks forward to getting the perfect tree, not too tall, not too skinny, not crooked,evenly distributed. He had so much patience and it was bloody cold.”

“I just wanted to commend the fine work of the employees at the Woodlawn Walmart here in Guelph. My name is Philip. I’ve been shopping at this store for 20 years now. I love that a major grocery/ department/ hardware/ clothing and pharmaceutical store ( among others ) stays open till 11pm in Guelph 7 days a week. No other store compares to these hours, but it’s the service I’m most impressed with. The other night I just made it before closing to pick up a few things for my children and when I got there I only had time to grab a few items before the store closed. So I was running around frantically to find someone to help me find a drink that my daughter wanted and April from the self checkout department took me to check a few coolers but nothing. I finally ran and found the elusive drink in the juice section. Then when I hurried back to the cash April had already scanned the items I already had saving me time. I had grabbed a big bag of cherries because they are in season now and getting cheaper but the whole bag was abit too much. Usually I just put it back and don’t get to eat cherries when I want. But April suggested why not just grab a couple handfuls for now which I did and they were only a couple dollars. I, too, was so happy I’d gotten a little treat and was able to go home after I thanked April. Customer service well done! She’s been at that store for years and I know a lot of people like her. For years as well I’ve gotten to know John, the greeter, at the front doors. Such a positive happy personality all the time who always makes customers feel special . A great guy. And finally the customer service manager and the senior customer service lady who are so helpful occasionally if I need to return or exchange something or find a product. I go to this store almost on a daily basis. I can’t speak highly enough about the deals, the prices, the quality of everything but again not only the staff but so many people from Guelph who go there and I’m constantly running into friends. During Covid it was Walmart and MACDONALDs basically in Guelph who were helping to keep everyone going as we all got through it together. An amazing store. I highly recommend it. My compliments and appreciation to all the staff from the cashiers to the store personnel, and everyone that works there. Oh and I love they have MACDONALDs there too where you can grab a quick snack or a drink and relax a few minutes because shopping can be a little bit hard on you sometime. My compliments to everyone there including Walmart Canada all the way back to the Walton family and Sam Walton who would be very proud of everyone if he was here today. People helping people is what life’s all about. Thank you guys!”

“I have had the odd problem there more so with new employees, but anytime and every time it has been fixed by the pharmacists I have no problems with their pharmacy. I think it's pretty good.”

“Despite the travel to the locations, they all have different stock. Which is good. However, the smart centre is where its at. Hands down the best location. The employees actually help you. And returning items is never a problem.”
