I happened across this pet store while driving down Upper James and I’m so glad that I did. When I explained to the store owner that I didn’t know anything about cats, but that I wanted to impress my gf’s mom, he was quick to point me in the direction of the most impressive treat I could get. He was so knowledgeable and attentive. Not only that, the treat was a BIG hit with the mom.

Having a bird groomer who is calm and kind leads to birds with less fear and stress which is so important for our feathered friends.

Muttedly Pawsome is hands-down the best dog grooming experience we’ve ever had, and that is all thanks to the incredible Fay. Honestly, someone needs to start the paperwork to have her instated as a saint. She’s that extraordinary.
Fay is not only a gifted groomer, but she is also unbelievably kind, calm, and patient with every dog she meets. All of our dogs have adored her from the first visit, and that’s saying something. Our latest rescue is terrified of his own shadow but Fay has been a complete godsend. Her gentle, reassuring manner has brought him out of his shell in ways we never thought possible. We never imagined grooming could be a positive experience for him, but with Fay, it truly is.
On top of her phenomenal handling skills, Fay does an absolutely flawless job grooming. Our pups always come home looking fantastic: clean, beautifully trimmed, and happy. She clearly takes pride in her work, and it shows in every detail.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the level of care, attention, and professionalism that Fay offers. We feel so lucky to have such a gem closeby. Honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without her.

I am so grateful that they could take us same day, and that they are extremely wonderful at what they do! My boy was not well behaved, but she did such a great job at such a great price, I would recommend them to anyone. I am contemplating bringing my other old guy in as well, because he runs when I try to groom him. Overall a great experience (not so much for them as for me), and I am very impressed.

Animazing Pet Spa
1024 Upper Wentworth St, HamiltonOur 16 year old, toothless, 10lb Shitzapoo, Grand Doggy, Gus, was in desperate need of a face and ear trim. He had been “fired” from his previous groomer because he hated being groomed and fought them like a Pit Bull. We had sedated him with Vet provided pills to calm him down. The staff here tried to trim his face but he fought like crazy. They said they were sorry but they couldn't do it. They really felt sorry for him because they knew he was so uncomfortable with the matted hair on his face and ears. Katrina decided she had to try to help him. It took 3 of us to hold him. He cried, I cried ( I’m a man) but, with her compassion and patience, she had trimmed him enough that he could be comfortable. We can’t thank her and the other ladies enough. Highly recommend them.

1770 King St E, HamiltonI cannot recommend this pet hospital enough. My cat broke her canine and they have done everything to work with me on billing with insurance, setting up appointments, walking me through the procedure.
But to boot, my dog got locked in my car today outside their office. I was panicking and close to sobs. They stayed with me after hours to make sure we found someone to get her out, had clean cool water for her on hand and did everything to help me get to her and make sure she was okay.
Above and beyond call of duty. They love animals and I will never go anywhere else in Hamilton for my pets.

I'm Really happy with this Vet so far, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the prices are very fair and they do a good job of explaining what your options are to balance the cost vs best care for your pet.
Plus they also offer pet daycare in house which I haven't used yet, but I really like knowing it's all at the same place if/when I need it in the future.

The front of the restaurant is full of tables and couches in a dog-friendly area. All food and prep areas are in a separate section where animals are not allowed.
Very clean and the food is excellent! They make a great London Fog, and their blueberry Breakfast Cookie is amazing!

We frequent their Thursday trivia nights and have tons of fun as Alison is an amazing host. Their beers are varied, with lots of unique flavours and offer a number of safe choices (Pinky Swear IPA and Berry Good Sour). Grain & Grit feels like a community every time you walk in the door which and that's why G&G is so special.

I visited last Saturday for my friend’s birthday. I didn’t expect I could get a cake because I didn’t reserve in advance. But to my surprise, they were able to make a great strawberry cake within 15 minutes and it tasted amazing. The coffee puff and Thai tea puff tasted great too.
Will come again for sure. Highly recommended.

They let us come and set up our decorations in the morning and pick it all up the next day. The staff was amazing, even with our unruly crew and the venue gave us the perfect, relaxed and rustic atmosphere that we were hoping for. Plus their beer is amazing and they let us pick the taps for the night. Thanks for making our day unforgettable!

They have a great selection of beer and cocktails and a really cool patio. The vibe inside is really neat and hip and it's a great spot to enjoy a meal or drinks before or after an event at Hamilton Stadium just a couple minutes walk down Cannon. Can't wait to return!
