I happened across this pet store while driving down Upper James and I’m so glad that I did. When I explained to the store owner that I didn’t know anything about cats, but that I wanted to impress my gf’s mom, he was quick to point me in the direction of the most impressive treat I could get. He was so knowledgeable and attentive. Not only that, the treat was a BIG hit with the mom.

Their knowledgeable and experience both in and out of the store is exemplary. They don’t try to sell you a pet to just make a buck. They will try to make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into. I got my two conures from them and they are happy and in good health! I always go back to them when I need anything; including grooming. If I ever need to find a place to board them, I know my babies will be in good hands with them.

I am dissatisfied with the hair style Chris gave though he had put in the work and covered all the areas that needed to be done. His work was thorough. But my puppy’s face looks so bad right now I dont recognize him. I had clearly requested him by showing a picture for reference even, to leave my pups muzzle hair on. But he decided to go ahead and trim it down to zero. Sharing my dogs before and after pics. I am giving 3 star coz Chris decided my dogs look for me, which sucks.

Krista is amazing. Not only is she knowledgeable and experienced, she treated my Charlie as if he was her own.
Having a bird groomer who is calm and kind leads to birds with less fear and stress which is so important for our feathered friends.
10/10 We will be coming back to Krista again and again for such an amazing service.

I had such a great experience at Pet Valu today. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The store is very well stocked and well maintained, making it easy to find everything I needed.
One of the features I absolutely love is their dog washing station, where you can wash your dog yourself, it’s so convenient and well set up! I believe they may also offer dog washing services by appointment, so it’s worth inquiring about that. There’s even a grooming station at this location, making it a one stop shop for pet care.
On top of all this, their prices are very reasonable compared to other pet stores I’ve been to. The combination of excellent service, great amenities, and fair pricing makes this Pet Valu location a standout. Highly recommend them.
A bonus as well is that there’s lots of free parking and wheelchair accessible parking and entrance making getting all your pets needs convenient

1770 King St E, HamiltonI cannot recommend this pet hospital enough. My cat broke her canine and they have done everything to work with me on billing with insurance, setting up appointments, walking me through the procedure.
But to boot, my dog got locked in my car today outside their office. I was panicking and close to sobs. They stayed with me after hours to make sure we found someone to get her out, had clean cool water for her on hand and did everything to help me get to her and make sure she was okay.
Above and beyond call of duty. They love animals and I will never go anywhere else in Hamilton for my pets.

I'm Really happy with this Vet so far, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the prices are very fair and they do a good job of explaining what your options are to balance the cost vs best care for your pet.
Plus they also offer pet daycare in house which I haven't used yet, but I really like knowing it's all at the same place if/when I need it in the future.

Beverly is so accommodating when I call and ask to leave Milo for a couple of days. We have been able to take many trips to Dominican because of Beverly's kennel. I always feel that my dog is in good hands when we leave. Beverly's kennel has the best prices in the city. I would not trust anyone else with my dog. Thank you Beverly, love the Galesic Family. ❤️

I visited last Saturday for my friend’s birthday. I didn’t expect I could get a cake because I didn’t reserve in advance. But to my surprise, they were able to make a great strawberry cake within 15 minutes and it tasted amazing. The coffee puff and Thai tea puff tasted great too.
Will come again for sure. Highly recommended.

They let us come and set up our decorations in the morning and pick it all up the next day. The staff was amazing, even with our unruly crew and the venue gave us the perfect, relaxed and rustic atmosphere that we were hoping for. Plus their beer is amazing and they let us pick the taps for the night. Thanks for making our day unforgettable!

My review is based on the service of the employees at the license portion of the building. I have always been met with friendly,helpful service. The location is very good being in a quiet area of the city and there is always plenty of parking.
