Best Cat
3455 Fairview St, BurlingtonWe adopted our youngest (Jack, 10mo male) earlier this year from Best Cat, and brought him home to his sisters (Pandora and Callisto, both 5yo female). So grateful to have Meghan and Kyle in our “cat village”! They alway seem to have the best suggestions and advice, and can research and source anything. The store is amazing - immaculate, beautifully stocked, and competitively priced to big box stores and Amazon.Plus, we’re supporting folks that are doing so much good through fostering and adoption. It’s nice to give back. ❤️

Back To The Bone Inc - Raw Natural Food for Your Healthy Dogs & Cats
495 Walkers Line, BurlingtonThe people who work here are awesome. Every time Beau and I go, they make such a fuss over him, it's like he's a celebrity. They also track his weight for us, each time we go weigh in, which is really handy. Their natural chews and frozen bones are fantastic for Beau's teeth. Love these guys!! Ive included a picture of my boy, a 3.5 year old mix. Before you ask me, his breed is whatever you see in him. ?

Downtown Pet Shop
398 Martha St, BurlingtonGreat fur baby shop in a downtown location. Michelle is always so happy and full of great information when I'm trying new things for my girl. The store has great quality products without the dizzying amounts of items you find at the big box stores. Love the shop, love the location and my girl loves all the amazing treats Michelle recommends.

Bone & Biscuit Burlington North
3061 Walkers Line, BurlingtonWe fell in love with this dog toy that our friend had. It was a cow that had a squeaker that made an oinking sound. She let us know that it was from Bone and Biscuit. I don't see a lot of these around the city but they seem to have more in the west end. This store was impeccably clean and well organized. The lady saw us admiring the cow toy and let us know that it also came in a sheep as well. They have an extensive selection of premium dog food in dry, wet, and raw food forms! Almost the entire back of the store is a refrigerated case. There are prepared foods that are cooked and uncooked ones. They had bags of just individual parts so you can mix and match, like quail eggs and chicken feet. Everything looked really clean, moreso than most grocery stores lol. They also have a case of really nicely iced baked goods. Some are birthday and some are just for the season. There were summer ones including really cute squirrels and crabs, almost like the really nice iced cookies you see at Starbucks! They also had other doggy party supplies like hats, bandanas, and bow ties with cute prints.

PetSmart
1200 Brant St #3, BurlingtonI have been to many groomers in Burlington, but I always come back to PetSmart. I receive the best cut, my dog is not left alone on the table with a hair blower as I witnessed at one of the "best groomers" I had the misfortune of taking him to upon p/u. My Groomer is Great, Friendly, Love them All! From Groomers, to all staff right up to the Cashier great staff!! Never a bad experience, and going there for years now. Won't give up again just to save a few dollars, as my dog/best friend is the best, and deserves nothing but the Best.

Discount Doggy Grooming
1349 Treeland St, BurlingtonThis is our first time with John and it will not be our last. We were tired of overpaying form puppy grooming mills where they do not listen or care and charge through the roof. John was very hands on. He groomed our dos, did his pad, nails and ears for less than we have ever paid. He was done within an hour and was a very happy puppy. Will be back

Pet Care
Aldershot Animal Hospital
475 Enfield Rd, BurlingtonBoth doctors are very nice and knowledgeable. While every pet emergency care is different, they did accommodate mine. They gave me everything I needed to support my cat, when she was dying and I'm still grateful for that. Michelle at the administration is the nicest person I've ever met. I'm so glad she joined Aldershot. It is a small clinic, so perhaps they can't do everything in there, but I trust them with their advice.

Pet Sitting & Training
Pat's Pets
5080 Fairview St, BurlingtonI called Pat’s Pet’s and left a message because I was in a jam the last Saturday of August, 2020. My wife had been working Saturdays starting Covid from 8:30am until Midnight, our children are at their Fathers on Saturday and I have work, commitments, errands and lots of jobs on the go which I have been struggling to accomplish for all of Covid because I have to make sure to feed my Dog Timber, Walk Him, Feel badly for leaving him etc. Pat immediately called me back and saved my day allowing my to compete the jobs I had to complete, work my own job and stay focused all because she was so accommodating by taking Timber within the hour of getting off the phone with her. She was extremely flexible, the price was overly fair and reasonable, she takes the dogs on multiple walks including trips to the dog park at Bronte Provincial Park! She was more the willing to keep my dog over night for next to nothing extra $$. Incredible care, below all the competitions prices, friendly, caring, dog returns happy and tired! Couldn’t be easier and closer to the perfect Doggy Day Care I regret not using since the start of Covid. Will be using Pat’s services again!

The Den Doggy Daycare
5325 Harvester Rd, BurlingtonThe Den is the only place we board our Pomchi ! We have boarded Emmy with The Den for weekend as well as extended stays (3 weeks). Emmy is very shy with other dogs and can be a bit stubborn with eating. The Staff at The Den is super accommodating to her needs and always makes her feel comfortable. The team at The Den goes above and beyond to make sure Emmy is taken care of (eating, enjoying her stay, etc.) as well as keep me updated when I ask. There are also webcams to watch the pups play during play times. We feel totally comfortable leaving Emmy at The Den knowing that she will be safe and enjoying her time. They even take care of my dogs while I’m away fro a long trip by giving him baths and nail cutting.Thank you to the staff at The Den I appreciate all the work you guys are doing there!

QB Sports Bar Grill Games
4460 Fairview St, BurlingtonWe had the most incredible experience at QB’s recently. If you have not ever been there, I highly recommend a visit! They knock it out of the park on all counts! This is not your average sports bar. In fact, it’s very far from it. Their service, food and fresh draft beer were all outstanding! The bar staff are incredibly warm and friendly, which for me is always a great starting point. I’m Irish, so really appreciate really friendly and genuine people, as I’m one myself. The food was beyond anything that we have ever had in a bar! We had the blooming onion, (as an appetizer), which is such a rare treat these days. Think of the Ex blooming onions, but these are 10 times better!! We also devoured their Buffalo cauliflower appetizer. That was another winner! These guys don’t mess around with small pieces of cauliflower covered in batter. This is the real deal, that by far outdoes the usual Buffalo cauliflower fare! It also comes with hot pepper rings. Yum! I’m a foodie, so you can take this to the bank! We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the QB menu. In addition, the TV’s around the entire pub are awesome for watching sports! This place just made our Sunday afternoon! Slainte! ☘️

MY Chinese DISH
Unit1&2, 3480 Fairview St, BurlingtonI stumbled upon this hidden gem of a small restaurant while craving Chinese food. Despite its simplicity, it's a true find. The restaurant's cleanliness and the owner's friendliness immediately set a positive tone. Opting for the lunch special ($8.99), I chose the Sweet and Sour Chicken with plain rice and a vegetable spring roll. The portions were generous, and the flavors were delightful. The service, provided by a cheerful young lady, was exceptional, and to my surprise, they even offered a complimentary hot green tea on that chilly day. For the quality of food and service received, the value for money is unbeatable. I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu offerings.
