I happened across this pet store while driving down Upper James and I’m so glad that I did. When I explained to the store owner that I didn’t know anything about cats, but that I wanted to impress my gf’s mom, he was quick to point me in the direction of the most impressive treat I could get. He was so knowledgeable and attentive. Not only that, the treat was a BIG hit with the mom.

140 Centennial Pkwy N, HamiltonWent there for the first time to get my bird groomed. We booked an appointment the day before. The staff was very welcoming and warm. Krista, who helped with the grooming is very knowledgeable, she patiently answered all our questions, even held my over-anxious bird with a lot of care. Gave us many tips! While doing the beak n nails, she went very slow and used a drill instead of clippers, so that she can stop n check whenever she wants.
Prices are very reasonable, only $20 for wings, beak n nail for a cockateil.
We later visited the store, its huge n has a few pet birds, fishes, and reptiles for sale. I felt the prices for animal supplies n the pets were slightly on the higher side, but I guess thats typical in a store. I 100% would recommend this place for any pet owners

Muttedly Pawsome is hands-down the best dog grooming experience we’ve ever had, and that is all thanks to the incredible Fay. Honestly, someone needs to start the paperwork to have her instated as a saint. She’s that extraordinary.
Fay is not only a gifted groomer, but she is also unbelievably kind, calm, and patient with every dog she meets. All of our dogs have adored her from the first visit, and that’s saying something. Our latest rescue is terrified of his own shadow but Fay has been a complete godsend. Her gentle, reassuring manner has brought him out of his shell in ways we never thought possible. We never imagined grooming could be a positive experience for him, but with Fay, it truly is.
On top of her phenomenal handling skills, Fay does an absolutely flawless job grooming. Our pups always come home looking fantastic: clean, beautifully trimmed, and happy. She clearly takes pride in her work, and it shows in every detail.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the level of care, attention, and professionalism that Fay offers. We feel so lucky to have such a gem closeby. Honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without her.

I am so grateful that they could take us same day, and that they are extremely wonderful at what they do! My boy was not well behaved, but she did such a great job at such a great price, I would recommend them to anyone. I am contemplating bringing my other old guy in as well, because he runs when I try to groom him. Overall a great experience (not so much for them as for me), and I am very impressed.

Animazing Pet Spa
1024 Upper Wentworth St, HamiltonOur 16 year old, toothless, 10lb Shitzapoo, Grand Doggy, Gus, was in desperate need of a face and ear trim. He had been “fired” from his previous groomer because he hated being groomed and fought them like a Pit Bull. We had sedated him with Vet provided pills to calm him down. The staff here tried to trim his face but he fought like crazy. They said they were sorry but they couldn't do it. They really felt sorry for him because they knew he was so uncomfortable with the matted hair on his face and ears. Katrina decided she had to try to help him. It took 3 of us to hold him. He cried, I cried ( I’m a man) but, with her compassion and patience, she had trimmed him enough that he could be comfortable. We can’t thank her and the other ladies enough. Highly recommend them.

She hasn't been going number 2 so they gave me other medicine i gave it to my other cat. It's been about two weeks, and she's finally going. I took up the dry food for over a week. In the wet food, I would put a little pumpkin, a little misolax, and this other white powder. And I would add extra water and mix it all up. By the end of the day, what they didn't eat.I would leave by their dry food and water. It's very scary when they haven't gone for over a week. In fact is very dangerous. I think they're back on track. All this hard work has paid off. I would definitely recommend this veterinary clinic. I would definitely go back when it's time. I wanted to put down kitty when she was urinating outside the. Box. The vet said, no, because she's still a very healthy cat. Thank god she didn't listen to me and I still have her with me.

I'm Really happy with this Vet so far, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the prices are very fair and they do a good job of explaining what your options are to balance the cost vs best care for your pet.
Plus they also offer pet daycare in house which I haven't used yet, but I really like knowing it's all at the same place if/when I need it in the future.

I like they had a sectioned off area for the food prep and an area for customers (furry or not). They have some basic some ground rules that are basic common sense. Great concept, great location and the owners are delightful. They were very accommodating for my daughters allergies. I'll definitely take our new puppy here once we meet all of the criteria needed.

301 Main St W, HamiltonIf you are looking for a “not too sweet” dessert spot in Hamilton or nearby, look no further than My Sweetooth. Every dessert we tried was fresh, balanced, and full of flavour without being overly sweet.
We ordered the coffee Basque cheesecake, sesame mochi donut, strawberry choux cream puff, and coconut cream ube cake roll and honestly, they were all perfect!
The choux cream puff had such a crispy outer shell that it almost makes you swallow your tongue. The chiffon cake roll was light and smooth, while the coconut cream was fragrant and the ube cream had a lovely nutty flavour. The coffee Basque cheesecake was rich and aromatic, with a slight bitterness from the cocoa powder on top that made the baked flavour even deeper and more satisfying.
What stood out the most is how well-balanced the sweetness was. Nothing felt heavy or overwhelming, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. Everything is made fresh daily.
Beyond the desserts, I had a chance to chat with Jia, the owner and baker, and she was so friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. When she found out I had a 2-hour ride home, she kindly offered me an ice bag to keep the cakes fresh, though I jokingly told her not to worry because I’d probably finish them all on the way home.
You can really feel the care and passion behind this shop, both in the desserts and in the service. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

They are in a place of Hamilton that is not “sexy” as it is more like an industrial area but it is totally worthy to come here!
Inside the store you can buy to go or have a few drinks. I saw families with kids playing in one of the available gaming consoles. It was nice to see families together in this place.
Lots of parking available.
I will be coming more often now in the summer so, wait for edits / updates!

My dog is a super picky eater and enjoyed her meal. Nina had the cafe decorated, spots for photo opportunities and a gate to maintain safety. I tried the Vanilla Cheesecake cupcake, and it was absolutely divine—one of the moistest cupcakes I’ve ever had. The icing was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like many cupcakes can be, which made it even more enjoyable.
If this cupcake is any indication of the quality of their other products, I can’t wait to try more of their flavors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious, well-made treats!
