“My wife and I have been using Rekmans Automotive for almost ten years . Family owned and operated.Very honest . I received a quote once to do some maintenance. It was about $ 610.00They did the work and the bill was about$ 520.00. I asked why it was lower than quoted ? The parts had come less than they thought and the job was done more quickly . They passed all of that back onto me . They could have charged the $ 610.00 and I never would have known . Honesty and integrity are the two words that describe Rekmans Automotive.Service: Auto maintenance”

“My husband used to to live in the RV beside it in 2006, he loved the place, wanted me to write this review for him. He is disappointed that the convenient store portion was not continued. He thinks he knows why but after all these years he wishes it would open once again so he could go there and revisit some past “good” memories. Whatever that means. As for the days of the present he hasn’t gone to repair his car there before it hears really good things and would like to give this good review back for the life he had before.”

“Showed up at their garage 15 minutes before closing time with a flat tire. The staff were very friendly and professional looking after my tire issue. They took all the necessary steps to inspect the tire , showed me its condition before concluding that the tire was damaged beyond repair. They followed up with an urgent order and completed the repair the following day at a very reasonable price. I will definitely going back for my car issues/ maintenance. They earned my trust and would gladly recommend them to friends and family.”

“This was my first time doing business with them. Every shop I called was booked up and I wanted to get a safety as I was only in town for a short while. They agreed on short notice and accommodated my circumstances by booking an appointment for the next day. I also needed a ride to enterprise while my vehicle was worked on and they gave me one free of charge no questions asked. My gas tank and km were also where I left them which I appreciate. They also allowed me to use their parking lot for a day for which also really helps being in Ottawa. For the safety, they didn’t bring things up which weren’t essential for safety for the sake of them to get more money. Also gave genuine advice about the car and recommendations moving forward.They went above and beyond my expectations and if I’m ever in town I would trust them to work on my vehicle. Honest interaction. Would recommend even if out of town. 10/10Service: Vehicle safety inspection”

“A huge shout out to Tyler and all the wonderful staff in Automotive Service here. Tyler rescued me yesterday when my car wouldn't start in a parking lot in Kemptville. He performed a temporary fix that was enough to get the car going so I could follow him to the shop, where he fixed the battery terminal and got me and my groceries on the road again. You guys are tops in my books!!!”
“Extremely helpful. Took my car right away when my tire pressure was low and fixed the puncture for us. Only place in town that offered to help us the same day (and we were from out of town). Kept us safe on the road. Very good service!”
