“My girlfriend and I had to have the flex plate/ flywheel replaced on our 2017 Dodge Journey SXT.
We both said “ oh great , we won’t be able to afford to have it fixed.
The finance company that financed the car has a list of approved locations that they send customers to for repairs. We have an extended warranty on the car. Thats another story altogether.
The first place we took it to ( won’t name the company because that’s going to be a separate review) quoted us $2,300 to fix it with parts and labour. We figured because it was transmission related, we figured that was acceptable. Then we found out that the extended warranty wouldn’t cover it. On top of that, they never took it for a road test.
This is where MR. TRANSMISSION comes into play. They are also an approved repair location.
We took it there, explained what was the problem was. First thing they did and said was that they were going to take it for a road test, to confirm what the issue was at no charge whatsoever.
They confirmed that it was indeed the flex plate / flywheel .
Here is where we decided that MR. TRANSMISSION was going to get all of our future business.
They quoted us $1,358 including taxes, parts and labour. They also confirmed that the extended warranty wouldn’t cover not cover the cost of the repairs.
Now here is where things got even better for us.
They deal with a 3rd party warranty/ insurance company that covers repairs, and they approved the repairs for us. All we had to pay was a $53 deductible. Then make bi-weekly or monthly payments.
So there was more than $1,000 dollars difference between the 2 separate quotes and they gave us a 1 year warranty on the repairs, no questions asked.
So hats off to MR. TRANSMISSION for the awesome customer service and professionalism.
They went the extra mile for us.
Also a big thank-you to Jennifer for walking us through the process and keeping our frayed nerves to a minimum.

“It was a great experience dealing with Ryan and Bruce they were knowledgeable and helpful and just all around nice guys. I originally went in looking for floor mats for my new F 150 got set that fitted perfectly. Second time back to get mud flaps we found ones that would perfect and ordered a bug defector for hood. After doing some research decided on a tonneau cover a hard cover from Rough Country which they had in stock and was installed on my 3rd visit a long with mud flaps .l also picked up rubber bed liner as well . I got everything I needed for my new truck all the right fit and installed. Can’t say enough about the service and the staff. It was so much easier to actually get this all done dealing with a business and people locally and knowing that could rely on them for service if ever needed. Thanks.”

“I bought a used SUV Rev4 from Jim and wonderful man who works at the Kingston office. Spoke to him on a Monday morning first thing 9am....got on the phone with my bank after hanging up. By the time I was sitting in the office with the banking agent the vehicle was in thr first stage of being sold to someone on-site. Thanks to the banking agent voicing I was approved for the loan and all the efforts of Jim on-site talking to the management I managed to get the SUV we were wanting. Although, I didn't get the amount I wanted for our trade in (who does) we were happy for all Jim's help in getting our amazing hybrid I was hunting for during my vacation. They even did a quick turn around and by Wednesday morning it was officially in my garage. When picking up our SUV Jim gave me a tour of all the ins and outs of how my hybrid worked, put the plates on in the storm for me too boot. After all was said and done and I was getting ready to drive away he even was kind and set my phone up to the SUV and helped with a little bonus gift to us. Couldn't be more happy with Jim and his helpful ? kindness during an expensive and stressful time.”
