“I have been buying shoes, sandals etc. and taking my shoes here for repairs for many, many years and have always received the best service and the highest quality work.
However I just need to add a huge thank you for the service I received this morning. I needed a quick repair made to a dog coat that I am sending today to a rescue dog in need in Belleville, ON and the repair was made on the spot at no charge. I offered to pay but my offer was kindly declined. I cannot express how thankful I am to their immediate attention to my request for help and I know this lovely dog and her owner will be so glad to receive this coat.”

“Original: I ordered jeans in the store two months ago, wasn’t done properly, the jeans didn’t come and had to called customer service, to put the order through. Still didn’t come!!! Called customer service again and now waiting the refund!!! It has been over two weeks!!!! Unbelievable!!!!
UPDATE: I appreciate the apologies. The issue has been resolved; a mix of computer errors, misinformation, and improper handling.
I have been shopping at Pennington’s for many years, my experiences overall have been great. The stuff at the Kingston location are always professional, helpful, kind, courteous, fun, and eager to assist, which is why I enjoy shopping there. The great deals don’t hurt either.
I do want to say, the customer service people were professional. They just weren’t knowledgeable and correct on how to execute the refund. I’m sure they will improve as they go.

But what truly sets this store apart is their exceptional customer service — honestly the best I’ve ever experienced.
We accidentally left our bag in the store, which contained cash and gold. When I called, Ben handled the situation with great professionalism. He asked the right questions to make sure I was the owner, and then went above and beyond by shipping the bags to Toronto at their own expense.
This level of honesty, responsibility, and care is rare. This was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!”

“Brittany was incredible to deal with. Her and her colleagues helped me navigate sizes while I was chasing my threenager around the store. Her other colleague, female, auburn hair with stick and poke hand tattoos was very patient with me as I was only giving her half my attention. She helped me physically pay as I had to grab my kid. The two district managers were also kind.
Brittany showed my little one a sneak peak of the stockroom from afar which impressed the 3 year olds mind.

“I went into the store with a link on my phone to their web site. The young girl at the cash register was very helpful. I brought up the link with a photo of the shoe I was there to purchase for a Xmas gift. She looked it up on her computer and found that it was in stock in the store and went and found the shoe. It was so nice not to go hunting for it. I was in and out of the store in no time with my purchase in hand. That young lady is a keeper.”
“I went to this location on November 11th to look for a winter jacket. I found what I wanted at a great price but it wasn't available in my size. I asked if any more were available. The staff were very helpful and when they were unable to find my size ordered it online for me. It arrived a couple of days later and is exactly what I wanted!”
