My sister and I were surprised at the sheer size of the store and the great variety of in-stock big brand names that were available not only with running shoes but with their other goods such as clothing and accessories. We were greeted by Sue as soon as we entered the store and after listening to my list of requirements she was able to search out the best pair of runners for my needs.

Sue truly made the difference in making me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. She measured my feet, checked the fit and observed my gait with every pair of shoes I tried on to ensure I was getting the proper stability/support I needed. Sue genuinely listened to what I needed without rushing me or pressuring me to make a decision. I can be quite indecisive at times so her patience and kindness was truly valued and appreciated. She didn’t hesitate to bring out as many pairs of runners as was required until I was happy with my final choice.

After decades of only shopping at big box retail stores I was conditioned into thinking smaller/independent businesses always charged higher prices but Running Free has clearly shattered that misconception. Prices are comparable if not better than the big box stores and Sue signed us up for the store’s newsletter which gave us a further 10% discount on the spot. Exceptional value and competitive pricing!

From first contact with Emma on the phone all the way through the sales process with Andy (this guy knows his stuff) and meeting with the owner Mark, it was a great experience. I was treated professionally by professionals !! purchased a DaVinci Milano. Its a very good bike and Andy fit me into it real nice. Its not a top end bike price wise, however; the entire staff made me feel like I had just bought the best and most expensive bike in their shop ! Believe me... they have some really good bikes in the inventory. Thank You. “Super great neighborhood table tennis club! This is a sister location to their main Mississauga location. Friendly players of a variety of skill levels - knowing how to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is helpful as the majority of the players speak these languages, but definitely not necessary. Don't be intimidated to show up solo, as you will find someone to play with. No water fountain, so make sure to bring enough water. Snacks and drinks are also available for purchase.”

I came to a bunch of stores on a whim looking for a gift for my mom’s birthday. The dude working there, named Glenn was so helpful and it felt like he genuinely CARED about finding something for me. “I had my ice skates sharpened too sharp by a manager (name unkown) at the Woodbine location. You cannot stop or scrap the ice with knife edge blades. I brought it back & Tico agreed that my skakes were as sharp as a knife. He cross-cut & sharpened the blade in 3 passes. I skated the next morning in fresh smooth ice and Tico did a fantastic sharpening. . My skating ability is very high, but not near as good as a figure skater's gracious spins & turns.
