“A small town market with a huge heart and bigger smiles. That's why we come back again and again, always making a point to stop in when we're passing through. Featuring a cornucopia of local products, they support the local economy by offering local fruits, vegetables, bread, baked goods, and much more—all so fresh that it practically glistens. What I love most is the abundance of fruits and vegetables, which are available in different grades at accessible price points to suit the purpose, be it fresh eating or canning. Stocked with all the grocery staples, you won't have to travel far if your pantry runs bare. And everything is beautifully merchandized, from the cheery, impeccably tended plants and baskets that adorn the front of the store, to the orderly rows within. What stands out most, however, is the service: it is exemplary. Everyone asks if you need help, and everyone is smiling—yes, indeed, everyone! That in itself is an incredible feat in a day and age when there is so little help anywhere, and when service is fake and feigned, following a script from a corporate rulebook. Seeing happy folks munching away at a slab of watermelon or licking their ice cream cone when you pull up is an image of the good in this world.
