“First, understand that this is a smaller "community" store. It will not have everything on its shelves. That said, it can get everything available at any other store, if you are able to wait. Staff is pretty young, but that is also expected at these stores. Very convenient if you live in the community”
“Great gas station. Tons of stock inside the convenience store part of it. Right on the corner and very accessible. Lots of pumps. There’s always one open. Car wash is adequate. Not the best car wash you can get but good enough. There is a Tim Hortons and a Tim Hortons drive-through as a part of this Station.”

“Pretty good stop. Car wash. Propane exchange. Ice. Sports drinks and small snacks inside. They were restocking when I went in and boxes were strewn all over the floor in the main area. There is a washroom for customers only which is quite boldly posted. Wiper fluid that they sell isn’t the top brand but it works. Window brush containers were full. Property is a bit dated and dirty but otherwise a great spot to get gas or other things.”

“A good gas station that is equipped with a car wash, a circle k, a Tim Hortons as well. You can really stock up here if you need to, so it’s reqlly convenient. Gas price is in line with others around here. Just know the Tim Hortons is self serve. They have gloves and sanitizer here.”
“After undergoing renovations over the Summer of '23, the Francis Gas Bar is now designated as a "Split-Serve" Station. This means they now provide both "Full-Serve" & "Self-Serve".There's no extra charge for the "Full-Serve" and is located at Pump#1. Pumps#2, 3 & 4 are designated as "Self-Serve".The new pumps are now much faster than the old ones were & now offer "Pay-at-Pump", like most other stations do.*Note that Diesel is not designated under "Full-Serve".”

“Gas station with a small store. Not much in the store, just drinks basically. Staff are always nice at this location. Prices seem fine compared to other gas stations. Pre pay at the pump only (or in store). No car wash or vacuum here at this location. It does have a tire pump station here. You can also collect optimum points here, or whatever they are called now.”
“Horrible I drove from Kanata to get propane. I showed up at 7:48 pm and they shut the lights off as i pulled in . I was denied service. You lost a long time customer tonight . suport small buisness....my propane will be bought at Costco from now on . ath least i will be served during open hours! The owner made it right !”
“Busy location with friendly and efficient staff, clean & well-stocked store. These poor employees have to deal with a lot of verbal abuse on a daily basis—the same types leaving these negative reviews. Let me give you a hint: if you’re trying to purchase cigarettes, HAVE YOUR ID ON YOU. If you’re purchasing gas, HAVE A VALID PAYMENT METHOD ON YOU. If you want a carwash, don’t come at closing time and get angry that you weren’t the only one with the same idea. It’s not rocket science, people.”

“I have reviewed this Petro Canada at Carling Bayshore and now they have lowered their gas prices than before but it's lower prices are always late at night or midnight then goes up in the morning. So the best timing to get cheap gas here is to go there between 11 and 11:55 pm
Gas prices always high here compared to Gas Prices on Carling and Baseline at other Gas stations...
Unfortunately we live nearby this station but we go to other places to get good price..this Petro-Canada gas station must follow other Gas stations prices on Carling but these people know there is no competitor here ..Wish we would have Esso gas next to Petro here on Carling at Bayshore but this station must match other prices in the city to make it easy for the residents of this neighbourhood
Recently Petro-Canada linked its Petro Card with RBC Cards to get 3¢ cheaper gas.
Se the price of Petro Canada at Baseline and elsewhere is cheating customers they put price 1.23 $ minus 3¢ 1.20. While the next gas station Esso is 1.20¢ so why would I use RBC at Petro so they should stop cheating RBC customers”

“I’ve been coming to this Petro-Canada & Car Wash location regularly, and it’s hands-down one of the best gas stations in the area.
First of all, the gas pumps are always clean and well-maintained, and there’s rarely a long wait, even during peak hours. The tap-to-pay system works smoothly, and the layout makes it easy to get in and out quickly — especially helpful when you’re in a rush.
The car wash is definitely a highlight. It’s modern, efficient, and does a great job cleaning the vehicle. I’ve used both the basic and premium wash options, and my car always comes out sparkling. The wash bay is spacious, and the process is quick, which I really appreciate during Ottawa winters when the salt and grime build up fast.
Inside the convenience store, you’ll find a great selection of snacks, drinks, and basic essentials. It’s always tidy and well-stocked. The coffee is fresh, and they even have a few grab-and-go food options that are surprisingly decent.
What really stands out, though, is the staff. Every time I’ve interacted with them, they’ve been friendly, polite, and helpful. Whether it’s giving change for the vacuum machines or just greeting you with a smile, they go above and beyond for a gas station experience.

“The staff is great. Drivers are crazy. Be careful here because people zip in and out and don't pay attention. Then if you use your horn to wake them up they try to pick a fight. I recommend going there when it is a slower time.”
