As soon as I pulled up to the pump, one of the attendants approached my vehicle with a smile and started cleaning the windows without me even having to ask. This small gesture made me feel like a valued customer.Moreover, I appreciated the personalized assistance I received in selecting the right type and amount of gas. The attendant took the time to inquire about my needs and guide me through the available options. I was particularly impressed that I could pay by cash, which is not always common in this digital age. Additionally, the attendant's ability to scan my optimum rewards points right from my vehicle was a seamless process.Overall, the service provided by the two gentlemen at the Esso gas station on Island Park Drive was truly outstanding. “Memories and memories of yesteryear is here when you walk in. The place is like walking back in time by 50 years. Inside is modern enough to have a Tim Hortons's so you can get a mixed sense of reality here. The prices are fair and the staff are top notch and know the city fairly well.”
“I am a frequent customer in the evenings (range from 8pm-9pm). Only downside is that it is real popular during those times so we have to wait patiently. If it’s too busy, I usually do a quick run in the grocery store or the Dollarama. But I’ll keep going in the evening either way due to its competitive pricing then. Customer service is during my time slot, cannot speak for the other times as it may be employee specific!”

Al in all cheaper gas than any nearby locations for sure.”
“Great car wash. Cleans thoroughly but under carriage spray time is too short. It does not clean well enough for the heavily salted roads In #Ottawa. Dryer time is much shorter than local competitors. Price has increased 4 times in the last six months. Helpful staff.”

“This Esso station carwash is located at the corner at 1970 Walkey road and Conroy. It is always clean and they have windshield wiper fluid by the fuel pumps. Entrance into and out of the gas station is easy and convenient. I also like to use their car wash facility to clean my car.If you like my reviews, photos or videos give them a thumbs up when you have time to refuel.”

“This is my local Petro Canada. It's at the southeast corner of Carling and Maitland. There's an Esso at the northeast corner. They are competitors, and I pretty much go to whichever one has the lowest price, unless I need a car wash, then I go to the Esso because this Petro Canada does not have a car wash. If you are going northbound on Maitland or eastbound on Carling, it is easy to access this Petro Canada, otherwise it's a bit of a pain, and it's much easier to just go to the Esso, lol. I guess this is why they can both co-exist at this corner. This Petro Canada is small. The convenience store attached is tiny. There's no slush machine. It's just chips, gum, chocolates, etc. I'm pretty sure they also sell lottery tickets and cigarettes, but those are things I never buy. I pretty much just buy gas and go, so it's definitely good for that, haha!”

“The team that manages this gas station are the kindest people I have ever met. This gas station always has the best price compared to other stations in the neighborhood. If you ever want to fill gas at the best price visit after 8 pm. The pump closes at 8.30-9 pm depending upon if it’s a week day or weekend.”

“Nicely located near the Metro. Pay at pump gas with a pay at pump automatic car wash. There is usually a line up at the car wash, best to go early in the morning or late at night.”
“Depends how you look at it I guess; small, convenient and a little less busy than the bigger locations. Maybe I’m wrong, but the cost seems slightly lower than other locations. The staff have always been friendly whenever I’ve used this Ultramar.”

“I go here to get my winter/summer tires switched in spring and fall. What really impressed me? They were swapping the tires and noticed my $1200 brake job (done somewhere else) was incorrect and causing damage to itself! They fixed it in an hour and I was on my way. There's rarely a line up. And their prices are fair.”

“I purchased a standard tier wash because I know most automotive car washes don't do a great job of removing all the extra wax that comes with the premium wash. Note: I also choose the toutchless wash because it doesn’t hurt the paint.It did a great job of removing all of the corrosive salt that comes from ottawa roads. I'd suggest the toutchless option if you want a clean wash and don't need a deep clean from driving on dirt packed roads.”

“Yes their this Esso Station Store on Innes. They have this kind older gentlemen. Everytime I fill, i am met with a smile, patient man. I feel he is everyones friend. A real pick me up. The store is packed with everything you want. They have a Tim Horton. Always serving some sweet donughts and a double double.”
“Another place to get cheap gas is at the Ultramar/ Quickie/ Roberto's Deli at 1034 Pleasant Park and St Laurent. They even featured that it was the cheapest price of the day on local TV news, Gasbuddy. The foot print of the gas station is small and a bit awkward so be careful when driving within the parking lot and when coming in and going back out of the gas station onto the street.”

“This Petro Canada is located at the corner of Baseline and Clyde. The prices are usually a bit lower here than gas stations a bit further north along Carling, even the Petro Canada at Carling and Maitland, which is not that far away. The store that's connected to this Petro Canada is not that big (like say the one at Innes just west of Tenth Line, which is so much bigger). There's no slushie machine or anything like that. Just over-priced snacks and bottled/canned drinks, lol. And of course lottery tickets and cigarettes, although these are two things that I never buy. The only things I ever buy at gas stations are gas and slushies, haha. I like the convenient corner location, so depending on how heavy traffic is in what direction, I can exit going northbound on Clyde or going eastbound in Baseline. Note that you cannot go the opposite way (i.e. you cannot exit and turn directly south on Clyde or west on Baseline). Hey, it's a gas station, not too much to say, but I like that the prices are usually low for the area and the location is convenient for the direction I usually want to go after gassing up.”

He took time out of his day to help me set up my account and make sure I was receiving points.
