West 49 is a business that offers a nostalgic shopping experience, reminiscent of the early 2000s. Customers can find great deals, especially on jeans, shirts, and a limited selection of shoes. The staff is described as kind, attentive, and helpful, always willing to assist customers. Despite some negative reviews regarding racism, the majority of customers have not experienced or observed such behavior from the staff, which is predominantly made up of people of color. The store's environment is enjoyable, with employees who seem to love their jobs. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and the quality of the merchandise, particularly the popular brand Zoo York. Although the store no longer offers refunds, only exchanges or store credit, overall, West 49 provides a positive shopping experience for its customers.
