Southbrook Organic Vineyards

The service is excellent and they also make pizzas on their patio if you need to multitask wine tasting and lunch. This year I particularly enjoyed their Estate Series wines: Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The Triomphe Sparkling Rose Anniversary and Triomphe Orange Wines are other standouts for me. The friendly staff are passionate about wine, explain the biodynamic and organic cultivation processes, and give great recommendations for food in the region.

The pizza was also good, Flavor was amazing but the dough was a bit dry and chewy and our jaws hurt after. Service was OK, it was extremely busy, so it took a little longer than expected for our food to come out. The server was very attentive, checking up on us multiple times.
Will definitely be back to try the nachos!

Someone said he used to ask his dad if he wanted to go to church, and he meant for drinks at Silversmith Brewing. I thought that was cute. The whipped feta was outstanding. The beer was just okay, but they only had 3 flight pours rather than your normal 4 to a flight. I would go just for the experience because it was a great time!

823 Line 6 Rd, Niagara-on-the-LakeBig Head Wines is one of my favorite wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Big Head offers a wide array of red and white wines. Many are classic examples, while others are playful blends and raw wines aged in steel or terra cotta, in addition to tradition oak methods. Henry guided us through a lovely tasting this year, was very knowledgeable and I went home happy with some wines to enjoy until my next visit.
