Dr. Turpel met with me before her surgery and explained everything and answered any questions I had.
This was the second of my dog's to have this surgery, with about a 16yr gap in between and he and his team haven't changed their caring, professional attitude at all; brilliant!!
He is very easy to deal with, very understanding of the situation and extremely compassionate and wonderful with my girl. The team gave me an Orthopedic recovery schedule, including detailed notes on recovery exercises, x-rays and blood work.
As Delphi is a bit nervous they kindly let me take her home that day after successful surgery.
The book even included Dr. Turpel's home email incase of overnight issues or questions, which is above and beyond caring. He even gave me a call that night while walking his dogs to make sure Delphi and I were okay!
It was the best experience to be able to relax and know that my girl was totally looked after at all times. Just like it was with my boy all those years ago; who went on to live a very happy, healthy life thanks to this team.
Delphi is doing great after 2 months post surgery, and is allowed to do more than just leash walking now...yay!
I really would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Turpel and the amazing team at Upper Canada Animal Hospital to any family of a treasured puppy who needs their caring professional expertise.

1208 Concession 1 Road, Niagara-on-the-LakeA lovely relaxing and informative stop on our bike tour. We sat outside in the shade with beautiful views of the adjacent farms. The tasting was well-paced, with the host bringing out one wine at a time and giving us about five minutes between pours to really enjoy it. She shared great details about the grape varieties, sugar content, harvesting process, and the history of the estate. It felt much less commercial and rushed than other spots, offering a calm, personalized experience. Overall, a great place to park the bikes, sip some wine, and unwind!

We got lucky on timing with a party of 8 since there's not too much space inside (though there's a large patio). But the kids and adults were all thrilled with their meals and the brews hit the spot. Close dinner before we drove downtown for some shopping time

Many are classic examples, while others are playful blends and raw wines aged in steel or terra cotta, in addition to tradition oak methods. Henry guided us through a lovely tasting this year, was very knowledgeable and I went home happy with some wines to enjoy until my next visit.
