Food Basics is a generally good local supermarket known for its affordable and reasonable grocery prices. It is a convenient option due to its location. The store offers a good selection of items, including some Indian grocery products, though some can be out of stock. As an older store, it could use serious updating and a deep clean outside. The produce can vary in freshness depending on the day. A common note is that shopping baskets are often not at the entrance. However, the staff are consistently highlighted as very nice, courteous, helpful, and thorough. The store features self-checkout counters, but often only one regular checkout is open.
I use the store app for coupons and savings. The prices are still decent. I wish they would have at least one more cashier open instead of heavily relying on the self checkout.

Most of groceries are fresh. I couldn't find most of international food items here. Self check out has too many flaws. Most of times store associate has to scan his/her id to over ride errors.

The wife goes here all the time. It would be 5 stars but their selection of dates could be better.
