“The best Serbian/Balkan store in North York and Scarborough area. I came here craving cevapi but unwilling to drive to Mississauga to the more well known Balkan stores.
The cevapi is just as good, and they’ve been the only store I’ve seen so far that serves red onions instead of white, which I find to be much tastier.
Their lepinje is also delicious, and they sell the most popular brands of various different foods like pickled peppers, ajvar, and kajmak.”

“I have just moved to North York, and walking distance to Leo's market. It's a beautiful, European style little market but provides everything from gelato icecream to fresh sandwiches, salads and hot, delicious food to satisfy all diverse tastes ? It's also a wonderful place for cakes and cookies and delectable pastries! My delight was finding fresh vegetables and fruits, and a variety of breads with a deli and fresh fish, chicken and other meats, and so much more! “A cashier called Kai helped me make a good financial decision during my visit here today. I also feel that both Elyssia and Sidra are strong contenders for Employee of the Month at the location! Then again— Xavier has included himself into the conversation by supporting Security Guard Henry on Mon, Dec 22nd 2025 by taking initiative on a certain matter. The whole unit is VERY strong and well rounded!! On Tuesday Dec 30th, Keetha helped me get change when I was in need! Deepali, Demar and Tatiana-Isabel work very well together as well!

“I come here for the crisps that other grocery stores don’t carry, it is clean and less crowded. Just be aware to double check the perishables, I don’t go there for it as I’ve seen expired produce and bake goods. I go to Farm Boy, Loblaws or Summerhilll and Metro for my butcher items and fresh fruits and veggies. You can collect Cineplex points by shopping here”

“Coffee Grinder Machine at Metro Bathurst & Steeles: This rating is only for the availability of the coffee grinder. After searching online, getting feedback from AI and calling all the stores suggested, Metro at Bathurst & Steeles is the only grocery store nearby that actually had an instore grinder. We rented a 100 cup coffee urn requiring a coarse grind and could not find coarse grind in stores (other than Sbux whose beans are not in our top 10), and few options online. Grinder has easy to understand directions and offers sizes from coarse to fine for peculators, french press, and regular coffee. FYI AI gave wrong info regarding other grocery stores having instore machines , best to call ahead. In terms of daily shopping, picked up a cucumber and it was double the price of other stores, and at a glance general prices seemed higher for produce items. Good looking selection of fresh flower bouquets.”

“The store was clean and well-lit, and I appreciated how quickly the checkout line moved even though there were a few people ahead of me. Staff were polite without hovering, and someone at the register actually greeted me, which doesn’t always happen at late-hour grocery stops. The aisles are a bit tight, but everything was easy to find, and the fridges were stocked and cold. Parking in the plaza was straightforward, which is a nice bonus in this area, and it’s also walkable from Sheppard-Yonge if you’re nearby. I’d definitely come back when I need something quick without dealing with a big supermarket.”

“I really like all the Galleria supermarkets in Toronto. The produces are unique and fresh. The reason I don't go there much is because of the prices of being high for many fruits and vegetables in comparison to other basic grocery stores.
But the people are very nice and helpful. It makes a shopping day much nicer.”
