“I just wanted to say I went to this sobeys location at 511 maple Grove drive yesterday and I had the experience of dealing with two of the most wonderful women I have met in a very long time Jackee and Michelle they were both a great help and I wouldn't recommend anyone who's looking to deal with wonderful people please visit this location these women rock please give them a raise the both deserve it and more.”

After an order mix up on a catering sandwich platter feeding my staff lunch - Carol, the manager on duty - quickly took action to get the order corrected and took accountability for the mix up. I want to especially thank Matty and Melissa in the bakery for your incredible customer service and amazing birthday cakes for our family!! Been ordering our cakes here for years and Matty always knows who I am when I call! The cakes she creates are beyond masterpieces! The prices are amazing and our birthday person is always amazed when they see their cakes ? The cakes are not overseer like other places and the custard filling is the best!! I highly recommend getting your bakery needs from this Sobeys!! Melissa was the one who took my order and was very kind and professional ensuring what I said I ordered is correct going over all my specifications to ensure she has everything right!”

“This is the best Metro location in all of Oakville! The store is clean, well organized and well run. It’s too bad they got rid of the Tim Hortons inside the store.
Meat and produce is fresh and reliable. Dairy and cheese is well stocked with good dates.”
“Wanted field red peppers today but none in produce dept. They were in their flier for 2.99 lb. Got to check out and the woman there asked if we had found everything we were looking for. We said no as we couldn't find the peppers. She called to the back and found out the truck had just arrived. We said we wouldn't wait so headed to our vehicle. Half way there the cashier woman called to us from the out door that someone was bringing the peppers to the front of the store. Husband went back in and was able to purchase the peppers we wanted. I don't know the name of the cashier but it was about 12:45 Thursday, February 5th.

“Awesome grocery store, especially if you want to cut your own sushimi, the salmon is really good and often on sale.
Beyind that, great selection of import drinks and snacks, and man, when they do the free food samples on weekends? Its stuff that you WANNA make at home. Just thin beef, butter, salt, pepper. So simple. So good!”

“This Metro is pretty rock'n. If you like me refuse to set foot in a Taco Bell BUT still want the oppertunity to make their tacos at home, Metro has you covered. There's like 3 sections of Taco Bell products. First, there is the seasonings. Whether you want Classic or Mild, the choice is yours. Then theres the squeeze sauces and shells kits. Fun for the whole family. Lastly the jars. If you want crunch dip supreem or bean, the power is in your hands. In conclusion... yeh.”
