“I needed the bathroom. It was open for public use, which is rare these days. It looked like it was cleaned regularly, but minimally. The walls looked unclean and the floor didn't look great but wasn't muddy and had no puddles around it. The toilet and sink were clean. The store itself looked great. Very clean store. Thank you for having a decent enough bathroom open for use! You have no idea how much I appreciate it.”

“My car broke down in this area and I was able to get to this station. It is conveniently located near a freeway exit. The gentlemen in the convenience store were very nice when I told them I was waiting for a tow truck. They even let me use the bathroom.The food pricing was good, too (I bought a couple of Rx Bars).I'll remember this place when I'm passing through and need gas or food.”

“When I was there I was treated ok. It has pet supplies, cleaning supplies, pop, lottery and much more. And gas. The door does not open on its own. With a walker it's a drawback if you are handicapped. Has a vendor within the store that sells hot food such as catfish.”

“Got a flat coming off the Ambassador Bridge this morning at 4 a.m. Limped into this gas station. The fellow on duty doing the night shift could not have been more helpful. My wife and I are both sorry we didn't get his name. Even when cell service was intermittent he let me use his store phone. One of the local customers (I think his name is Dan) helped us change the tire and get on our way. I haven't stopped at Marathon much but I will now and I will go out of my way to buy gas from this location next time I am in Detroit. Here's a picture of the bolt we picked up coming off the Ambassador Bridge. Wish they would clean the deck better. Had to buy a new tire.”

“This is a smaller mom and pop gas shop. It has a small convenience store in it. The place is nice and neat. The staff are nice and can help you with certain car stuff. I like how they have a coffee area, the coffee is good ... If your in a rush and need to get things done fast I highly recommend this place. Because they are never really busy”

“I needed gas desperately in Detroit, where I had just received my monthly treatment at Karmanos Cancer Center by 11 a.m. I used G.P.S. & it sent me here, out of the way of my drive home but I didn't care. ExxonMobil was very clean; service was excellent; with wide variety of items anyone might need. There are many gas pumps, which were all being used. It only took a few min for one to open up. Great experience here!!”

“Lots of gas bays. Not usually busy the times I've been there so no waiting for a pump.I get my diesel here as I find Esso diesel gives me good mileage, sometimes better than diesel from other gas stations.I find the diesel prices here pretty good.”
