“The Cochrane House is an absolute gem in Detroit. This beautiful historic home is perfectly located—close to everything—yet feels like a true escape. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made the entire stay feel special from start to finish. And the breakfast… hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and such a memorable part of the experience. If you’re looking for a fun, unique, and affordable place to stay, this Detroit bed and breakfast is a must. “Saw your ad on TV for tickets to see the King and I , with Yule Brenner and Debrorah Kerr. Had balcony seats. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Thank you. I'll never forget. It was the early 80's. I've always enjoyed Broadway hits, Carousel, West Side Story and others. I purchased private balcony seating. Beautiful blue velvet comfortable chairs. Only one other couple with us. Extremely elegant.”

“I visited an EXCELLENT vendor truck, CHEF 3059. I know Chef Dameka personally and her food is AWWWWESOME. Her truck and food are compliant and delish. She's clean and her staff is friendly, professional and timely with orders. Next time you're near HUNTINGTON also known as Cobo Hall, check out her food menu. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her fried Catfish and Chicken Wing dinners. They're well worth the money. You won't be disappointed.”

“I love to tour old buildings and this one a gem—just wish I had more time—the 2hour limit wasn’t enough to read all the details in the coach house and check out each room in the mansion. Wanted to listen to each guide but they were very busy.
Certainly would have been a time saver to have the coach house open 30 minutes before the house opened so you could read the history and have your ticket to enter right at the start of the 2 hour period”
“We just had our wedding here yesterday (September 13th) and it was an amazing event. The staff is extremely friendly and fun to work with. The building itself has a lot of charm and lovely aesthetic. A lovely gallery to look at and enjoy a long with a beautiful outside courtyard. This was the perfect place to host our wedding and will be coming back for more events and galleries going forward.”

There is so much space to mingle, the dancefloor is huge, and there's also amazing outdoor spaces (not to mention the docks-- if you're lucky you'll get a banger of a sunset on a clear night!) “We went for a christmas party, was a nice spacious hall. The bathrooms and hall were very clean. Nicely decorated. They had a coat check, which was a plus, lots of parking. The bartender was very knowledgeable about different drinks, great at giving suggestions. Great customer service.”
“Visited this club for the first time to see an Indie band this week. Had never heard of it before and had no idea what to expect. Really nice place, I thought it was fantastic. Well run, clean, sound was good, beautiful back beer garden out back, friendly crowd… this is a great place to see up-and-coming bands and I can imagine it’s gaining a reputation for that, for good reason. Only thing is no dedicated parking and nothing obvious nearby.”

“We recently had my brother’s wedding at Babylon, and the pictures just don’t do it justice. The hall is absolutely stunning, and Seevan and the team were wonderful to work with. Everything was exactly as discussed and the food was excellent, I wouldn’t change a thing!! The guests couldn’t get enough of everything. Delicious food, STUNNING hall (don’t judge the outside), and wonderful staff. They went above and beyond in everything. Seevan has an eye for making the event beautiful. His placement of the tables, stage, and his recommendations made the wedding stunning. My guests were speechless. I wouldn’t have had it any other way and I hope to be back again. “Our room was spacious, and we had our own parking spot right in front of it. The inn's location is great; easy walking distance to downtown. Founders Brewing is close by. We felt safe. The owner, Mona, really aimed to please. Her breakfasts were delicious. Lots to do in Detroit; we're looking forward to returning. When we do, we'll stay at this wonderful inn.”
“If you want the best pizza ever and anywhere, this is the place!! Authentic wood fired pizza with a wide range of options and incredible flavours. Any pizza can be adjusted if you are vegetarian. If you are vegan, just bring in your own cheese and they'll make it. (note: pre-covid, they used to carry vegan cheese on hand, so hopefully one day they return to it if the demand is there) Caboto also offers their banquet menu for a sit down meal. Their pasta sauce is by far the best around. Check out their social media pages on FB and IG to view and take advantage of their weekly specials!! You just have to eat here!!”

Our first show was a success and we are looking forward to building a long term working relationship with Anita and Club 9.”
“My wife and I arrived early Sunday for a 3 night stay. This was our second time staying here. It's in a great location walking distance to Comerica and Ford Field. The entire staff go out of their way to be helpful. The Trolley Cafe is top Noth. The manager of the Cafe is Christian and she is a delightful woman. Last year we arrived a few minutes after the kitchen closed and she went out of her way to make sure we had something to eat. Housekeepers are spot on as well. We really couldn't ask for more. Oh the two Coney Island dog cafes Lafayette and American are 2 minutes away”
