However, 5 stars is not NEARLY enough to express the awesomeness that is Diego, the current store manager! Right from the door open, he was kind, friendly, and had a fantastic energy! He answered my question with a solid amount of knowledge, and we even exchange a bit of social conversation! It's rare in today's climate to find a genuine good soul working retail, and this man is a credit to this Franchise. I'll definitely go back!

What has meant the most to us is that Dr. Ramoutar and Lee's willingness to help when unexpected situations arise. On more than one occasion, they've done everything they could to fit us in and ensure Echo had everything needed so we could safely travel together. Their compassion, flexibility, and genuine concern made what could have been incredibly stressful situations so much easier.
Dr. Ramoutar always takes time to answer questions, explains everything and makes both Echo and I feel cared for, and valued.

From his first check-up and vaccinations, to getting him fixed, and finally helping with all the paperwork when I moved and imported him to another country, everyone was great. Over that time, he saw several vets here, and every one of them, as well as the vet techs and reception staff, was wonderful with him.
They were especially accommodating during my last month in Ottawa, helping me navigate the tight deadlines for import paperwork, CFIA forms, and vaccine requirements. For that in particular, I'm incredibly grateful, as they made what was otherwise the most stressful part of my move so much easier.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bytown Cat Hospital to anyone looking for excellent care for their cat.

Julie is wonderful with the dogs and it always feels like she actually knows YOUR dog and everything they did that day. You never feel like just another client. We love seeing pictures of our dog having fun with others and she comes back so tired and happy.
Our girl is VERY people shy and not only does she eagerly run in every morning, Julie is the only person outside our household she lets touch her, which is the greatest seal of approval I could ever give! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Had the traditional falafel sandwich and it was loaded and delicious, great value too. The owner is genuinely friendly and welcoming, and there are picnic tables outside so you can sit and enjoy.

My family is from down East and The Pelican serves as a beautiful tribute to the fresh fish markets and little restaurants that I love so much. I felt tucked into a cozy and lively down home place with amazing service and delicious, fresh food.
I had the Thai Shrimp Curry based on our server's recommendation, which was absolutely incredible. The sauce was perfectly balanced and the vegetables were fresh and delicious. Half a dozen of the choice oysters with a dash of mignonette started my meal beautifully.
My partner had a shrimp cocktail and the fish and chips. His plate was piled with fresh cut fries, homemade tartar sauce and fresh coleslaw.
I loved everything about this place, from the great service, the atmosphere, and the incredible food. Definitely will return!

I tried the Avalanche (cheesecake spread, Skor chocolate-toffee bits, and caramel sauce), and it was definitely sweet — but I have a sweet tooth, so you won’t hear any complaints from me! 😂 The BeaverTail was fresh, warm, and crispy, just the way you want it. I’ll definitely be back to try the Classic next time!
