“Very beautiful vintage store on the corner of somerset and Lyon in the heart of centertown. Locally run, locally sourced thrifted, vintage pieces. A little more on the expensive side. Has lots of formal pieces as well. Beautiful selection of dresses for a guest at a wedding, part of the wedding party, nye party, every day wear and everything in between. Love every piece I’ve bought from here. Jewelry and homeware is amazing as well.”

“Favourite thrift store in the Ottawa area by far. Fantastic hand-picked selection, they have everything! Quality dresses, skirts, jeans, and brand-names, as well as shoes jewelry and hair clips. You can order online and pick up in store, or in-store shop but either way the staff are always kind and very helpful. Great place to find cute clothes for any occasion, as well as to find affordable gifts for friends and family.”

“Paul's Vintage is a genuine vintage experience. The selection here is impressive and obviously carefully curated and constantly changing, with a good range of items (especially 80's clothing, it would appear). However, what makes this place stand out from every other vintage shop is the owner, Paul. His knowledge of the vintage world is vast, and he shares it willingly. No frills, no pushy sales tactics, just a friendly, honest, and knowledgeable service that makes shopping here a real pleasure. “I was hesitant to come here after reading some of the negative reviews, but I would recommend for others to check out the store themselves to form an honest opinion. I thought the staff were pleasant and the store had a very wide and unique selection of clothes! The only flaw is that the space is extremely cramped, especially if you go during a busy time. Most of the space is only one person wide, so you're gonna be awkwardly passing other shoppers to get from rack to rack.If you enjoy sifting through racks/bundles and don't mind being boxed in, this is the place for you! If you're claustrophobic and enjoy shopping in a store that is more organized/curated, there are plenty of other stores in the city for you.”

“Not sure how Plato's Closet is getting so many savage reviews, but I had a great experience there. I went in about a week ago, was greeted by both the girls working - who were both super friendly. I handed over my bags, and she went through them really efficiently - took some items, left the rest. Refolded every item neatly and placed it back into my bag. Would definitely go back again!”
