Our daughter ordered a plain cheeseburger but it came with all the topping on it. She is four, so of course, pitched a fit and refused to eat her meal. We scraped the toppings off and put it on a plate to the side. The server saw we had done this and that her food was untouched, but didn't say anything. They brought her icecream as a dessert, but didn't tell us what flavour it would be. It ended up being vanilla drizzled with "espresso caramel". Again, she is four, so obviously she hated this pretty thoroughly. Again, untouched and the waiter didn't mention it- just cleared it away. I understand that this isn't necessarily a "family restaurant", but for the amount you are paying per meal, it would be nice for them to cater more specifically to all folks, children included.
