“The quality of the beef is a top notch in Vancouver Downtown. They sell the same beef as restaurant Elisa, which is located next door. I’ve bought a piece of Bavette and dry aged ribeye home. I love to cook bavette as medium rare so it was super juicy and tender. Excellent strong beef taste.

“I just discovered this place after my long time deli Continental closed permanently. Walking into the store was that familiar deli smell. It was spotless and had a great assortment of familiar European foods. Very good prices and extensive product list. I will be back again.”
“An honest, authentic butcher shop. They consistently have all the cuts of meat I struggle to find elsewhere (picanha, chuck roast, beef shank) and carry a great selection of pellets for the grill. Can't recommend them enough!”

“Was on Granville Island in search of affordable steaks and I found Armando's! The wonderful filipina older woman (glasses, pixie cut, grey hair) guided me through the different cuts they had and we landed on the Australian Ribeye. At ~$15 a cut, and a strong beefy flavour, I can't complain! It was seriously delicious and the quality was miles better than supermarket steak. Will return and recommend!”

Quick shop to pick up Hotpot meats, veggies, soup base, etc.
Lots of hotpot meats in the freezer Dept.. used to be cheapest Wagyu slices in town.
They have a butcher with fresh meat at the back.. price is reasonable.
Go on Wednesday and get 10% off. Closed on Thursdays.
Place and aisle is narrow and small, not ideal if you have a stroller, shopping cart, etc. leave it outside.”

“I’ve been going to this place since I was a kid, and it’s never disappointed. Don’t expect good service, expect to speak mandarin, prepare to get low key yelled at - but this is in my opinion by first the best bbq duck and soy sauce chicken in Richmond. Always well seasoned, supremely unctuous, juicy, and tender on the inside, for a very reasonable price. Do be advised that the container do something leak, but omg so worth it!”
