“I love having a local butcher shop...this place makes the neighborhood feel cozier. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, even while ushering through hundreds of customers a day. The meat is always fresh and great quality, and the prices only go up as their costs go up. The prepared food is delicious too if you want to grab and go. I shop here weekly for our meat, and it is probably the best place to go to grab a ribeye to grill. Drumsticks are usually on sale too, grab a bag and freeze if you can't get through them. Teriyaki steaks are a big hit with the kids, sometimes on sale for $5.”
“We stop by this friendly butcher shop once a month to pick up some farm fresh eggs and some sausages or meat ends from their frozen item freezer because it helps us feed our family. Every so often, they have unbelievable deals in their window display from sandwich meat to sausages or cheese. Whenever they have that sale we always buy as much as we can afford. All of the staff are genuinely kind and assertive. They are the real kinds of Canadians that this country needs more of.”

“We found this place by accident, walking by and saw all the cases of soft drinks. They have a great selection of pop from the US. As someone else mentioned they don't have signs with prices. However the employees were very friendly and scanned the drinks I was interested. Although the drinks are much more expensive than local soft drinks they are about the same price as other specialty shops in the area. One variety was over three times the cost of a regular local Coke. But you are paying for variety.
Having never been here before I don't know if they always have a good variety. For now, being addicted to a couple of flavours,I will be a regular customer. They also had a decent selection of chocolate bars. I didn't pay attention to the meat area but there were many options.”

“An honest, authentic butcher shop. They consistently have all the cuts of meat I struggle to find elsewhere (picanha, chuck roast, beef shank) and carry a great selection of pellets for the grill. Can't recommend them enough!”
“200% recommend for imported Japanese Joshu Wagyu A5 beef cuts! My travel plan to Japan got cancelled so I was googling wagyu beef and came across Nikuya. I preordered online wagyu ribeye and cubed beef. My mouth was watering at the sight of all types of wagyu beef (from shabu shabu to yakiniku cuts) be ready to drop some money here caz I couldn't stop myself when I saw buy 1 get 1 free offer in the frozen section. I decided to grill it with some salt to retain the original flavor and the wagyu just melted in my mouth ??? totally worth it!!”

“I am near by Langley Meats all the time. I was walking in the area and decided to check out what this store has to offer. It is a very small meat store. It has hot pot meat along with marinated bbq meats. They have two locations: one in Burnaby and the other in Langley. The prices are cheaper than Assi Market. When I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely young lady. I ended up getting some Shabu meat and I was offered 10% off. I also picked up some marinated meat and I was offered 20% off. One con I found was that their meat selection is somewhat limited. I had the shabu meat and it was quite fresh. I will pick up more next time”

“Was on Granville Island in search of affordable steaks and I found Armando's! The wonderful filipina older woman (glasses, pixie cut, grey hair) guided me through the different cuts they had and we landed on the Australian Ribeye. At ~$15 a cut, and a strong beefy flavour, I can't complain! It was seriously delicious and the quality was miles better than supermarket steak. Will return and recommend!”

Prices are about the same as you would expect at any independent butcher, but the quality and the pleasant environment makes thisagood business to visit.”
