“So I recently switched banks and my old bank would automatically hold a balance over for 24 hours if there was NSF in my account, if the money materialized within that time frame I wouldn't get dinged with an NSF fee, there would just be a 5$ charge for holding the balance... Well RBC does not do that I've come to find out, so today I got dinged with a 90$ NSF fee for two transactions from the same place that tried to come out a day earlier than expected. I called the call center, the wait wasn't too bad and the lady was very nice and easy to talk to (I believe her name was Suzanne) she credited back half as a courtesy and gave me some helpful information to help avoid this in the future.I'm only writing this because I see alot of bad reviews here and I've personally never had a bad experience banking with RBC so far.Thanks RBC!Edit: The employees here will go above and beyond for you. This bank is somewhat old school in the sense they like to do things in person. A lot of the issues people have with this bank is not being able to get through on the call centre line, if you go into the bank physically they will take care of you. Shout out to Angela for her wonderful customer service.PS I also I got a free iPad as a promo for signing up for a bank account with them, which is just a nice cherry on top. This place is always running promos for new bank accounts.”
