“We usually pick up some shrimp and party pack for an fun easy movie night with the family. Their tasty burgers are a family favorite plus they're pre cooked so you can't mess them up. My father who's older and lives along often gets their pre made meals because they are easy to cook, tasty and much healthier than what you'd get from a supermarket.”
“I don't often go to Skafs, but since I work downtown Port Arthur and I went to visit my mother, I figured I'd stop there for a few items. No issues navigating the store, however the cashier at the register spoke very quietly (I'm hard of hearing, and the cashier turned partially to the register) and I mistakenly heard 'how are you' not 'how are you paying'- the person at the register was very abrupt. I felt very uncomfortable, not the best experience. Customer service is a big thing- just wanted to share that. Overall great store for goods though.”

“Bulkzone is one of my favourite establishments in Thunder Bay, they always have a ginormous and diverse selection of imported goods and specialty items. Shopping for staples and pantry goods brings down the price of groceries for me, while also being able to shop locally. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and always working hard.”

“I visit Shawn's No Frills often and everytime I'm there I see a very friendly and helpful individual working in the produce area. Today he was able to find some product for me that wasn't on the shelf. Today I asked him his name since he's been so helpful on my many past visits. His name is Brendan and he is a definite asset to Shawn's no frills. Thanks for all your assistance Brendan. He is the Produce/Bakery Manager. A plus, 5 stars everytime.”

“Obviously, when it comes to groceries, people have their own reasons for choosing where they shop. I've always liked the Safeways experience dating back to the 60's. This store is bright and clean and the employees are busy but always easy to find and willing to help me find something new or different. I know the store well, and like to get in & out quickly, so it suits me well. The quality of the products they sell, the convenient location (on my way home) and recognizable faces makes me a happy Safeways customer.”

“There is not better place to get your deli meat on the South side of the city, the prices are much less than the big chain grocery stores, the store is clean and easy to move around in, they often have sales on their beef and chicken. Pleasant cashiers Vegetables can be a bit more expensive, but its a good place to stop and do some middle of the week top ups. I am sure it's also appreciated by the (older) citizens living in the area”

To my happy reaction he said \\\" I figured you might still be in the store shopping.\\\" This is the best customer service experience I've ever had in a grocery store. It is also very clean and the items are pretty easy to find.”

I live in Timmins and I had phoned in to order some flowers to be delivered on October 2. Today, September 29, I noticed a $64.98 charge on my credit card. I had not intended to spend that much. When I called
to get a refund and re-order, Janet and Angela were so very kind and professional on correcting MY mistake. Janet even called me back minutes later to let me know that my credit had gone through. Thank you so much ladies, you are the best! Barb Birkett ??”
