Common Sort - Annex is a curated second-hand clothing store. The selection features higher-ish and international brands like Reformation, Levi, Wilfred, and oak + fort. The space is small and can often be very busy, which sometimes makes it hard to shop. Prices are a little high for certain things and a bit inconsistent. The store buys clothing by season, and they can get very busy. They only accept items that are in style and will sell, so they may not take everything brought in; it is not personal. It is recommended to check what season they are buying for, only bring that stuff, and come early. They offer personal shopping services, which receive excellent reviews. Staff are described as great, very sweet, warm, creative, and helpful but not afraid to give honest opinions. They are quick to respond via phone call. For these sessions, staff have items ready, make it fun and easy to try everything on, and help broaden wardrobe horizons without pressure to purchase. However, messaging through email or Instagram is non-existent. Many customers report being very happy with the service and purchasing most of the recommended pieces. Staff are also noted for going above and beyond to help find specific items.
These reviews are pretty silly. This isn't a donation centre. They take items that are in style and will make them money. There's no obligation to take your stuff. Read the rules on their site before going. All the regulars know this.

I signed up for personal shopping and could not be happier! Sarah had everything ready for me before I arrived and made it fun and easy to try everything on. She was great! I bought at least 3/4 of what she recommended. I'll be back soon!

A special thank you to Rue who went above and beyond to help me find dresses over the phone! Like a needle in a hay stack they were found! Thank you so much for going out of your way to make someone day!
