Food Basics is a grocery store with affordable prices. It has a fairly clean and organized setup, making shopping quick. The store offers a variety of products, including groceries, fruits, and vegetables. However, some items, such as Asian products, are limited. The store has good deals and a self-checkout option to reduce waiting time. Some products may not be available on shelves, despite being advertised. Overall, Food Basics provides a nice value for shoppers, with a range of products, including international items in its world kitchen section.
Food Basics sometimes has good deal for whole week. For example, this week they offer 1 bag of romain lettuce for ~$3, half of normal price. We also bought a baguette for only 99 cents, and we made delicious food.

The store is okay overall, but the experience could be better. The cash register staff are not very friendly, which makes checkout uncomfortable at times. Also, baskets are often not available, and there are fewer carts than needed. With better customer service and more baskets and carts, the store could improve a lot.
