“A great hotel in the perfect location. All attractions and places to go out are at walking distance, with the CN Tower at your door step. The staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms have a good size and are tastefully decorated, the gym is very complete and the swimming pool, even though small, allows a decent swimming workout. I would come back and fully recommend it. Thank you very much!”

“Stayed here for one night. It was a good experience. The hotel has a nice charm to it and the service is very good. I like the option to text that was provided. You can ask for anything and they respond quickly. The rooms are quite comfortable and spacious enough. The Bistro Bar was nice but the rooftop was closed for renovations on our visit. The only negative I’d say would be the breakfast. The bacon and sausages weren’t very good. If you’re looking for a nice boutique hotel on the eastside, this is a great option.Rooms: Charming, comfortable and cleanFood & drinks: The bistro bar is a very nice vibe. Cocktails were great!”

“Updating a previous review. I've been to this spa several times. Always lovely treatments. Two weeks ago I had a pedi there and the tech did a poor job. Management handled the situation with excellent customer service. Thank you, Kaite.”
“We stayed for 4 nights and this hotel was wonderful. We loved how there’s a subway station under the hotel. We also loved how there was ample parking although the steep drive down into the garage was a little scary because of how tight it felt. We visited Toronto for Veld and with how dusty it was this year we appreciated that the hotel installed awesome rainfall shower heads + we enjoyed the full size bottles of the body care products. We loved the heated pool as well. If we’re ever back in Toronto I will keep this hotel in the back of my mind!”
“I'm giving this place 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star hotel, but because when you compare it to a homeless shelter like Seaton House, this hotel looks a lot better. If you're a normal person, visiting the city, DON'T STAY HERE, this is not the place for you. This hotel is for the homeless, escorts & drug addicts. It's not meant for tourists or anyone who owns or rents a place to live. This is for people who are in dire situations in life & would rather pay a cheap price for a private room & a warm bed, instead of going to a homeless shelter”

“The staff are so professional in the bar. The cocktails are very well made - both complex and delicious. The bar is a great place to lounge around and enjoy the surroundings. The nuts with the drinks goes down well too.”
“Great wedding venue! We held our wedding at Ocho in June 2024 and had a great experience. The staff were professional, easy to work with, and answered all of our (many, many) questions. The space is beautiful and having the patio available was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a downtown venue at a reasonable price that can do both ceremony and reception, and that can take care of lots of details in house (eg. food service, tables, chairs, linens, cutlery), this is a great choice.”
