“The hotel is beautiful and luxurious inside and our suite was spacious, but the cleaning services could improve just a tad. Overall, we enjoyed our stay as well as the restaurant within the hotel.”

“The location is a little scary at night, but the hotel and the service are very good. Just keep in mind that they do charge an additional, fully refundable security fee.”

“Really enjoyed our stay here!We were here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary- and they were so thoughtful. They left a balloon, chocolates, and a hand written card on our door. The room itself was a Deluxe King - had a tub, heated floors, bathrobes, modern TV, automatic curtains! Staff were great and area was so close to so many things that we always wanted to visit downtown Toronto. Would easily recommend!!”

“Really cool hotel, love the ambience, the attention to detail and thoughtful touches. Food is great and staff are friendly and responsive. Was a little disappointed that the record player in our room (which was highlighted when we checked in) was broken, as was a light on the headboard which wouldn't turn off. Was also prevented from taking a glass of wine up to my room from the bar which seemed pretty silly and archaic - I've been able to do that in every other hotel I've stayed at around the world . They said it had to be delivered by a server which of course required an additional cost.”

“Place is very clean and definitely has the relaxed atmosphere. Both RMT's were/are amazing. Checked all the boxes to our needs.Very overpriced and why the four star? Upon checking out the person who cashed us out told us how much of a tip to leave. She told us that 60 dollars to each RMTs is what to leave. So it tainted the mood. We had planned on leaving a good tip but being told what to leave is crossing a line.”

“A fairly new marriott hotel in Markham. The room style has been very consistent per Delta criteria. Clean, bright and simple.Since it’s pretty new, the service is still ramping up. for example, the front desk phone line is not setup properly but only dials 0 works. No concierge service as of now.The day I stayed had lots of kids/hockey players around. The hotel could communicate better with them while they were still running and singing around after 11pm.Overall, the hardware are great, the software/ service still has room to improve.”

“I'm giving this place 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star hotel, but because when you compare it to a homeless shelter like Seaton House, this hotel looks a lot better. If you're a normal person, visiting the city, DON'T STAY HERE, this is not the place for you. This hotel is for the homeless, escorts & drug addicts. It's not meant for tourists or anyone who owns or rents a place to live. This is for people who are in dire situations in life & would rather pay a cheap price for a private room & a warm bed, instead of going to a homeless shelter”

“One of the best Aloft hotels. Clean and comfortable. Have always liked the room and public area layout of the Aloft. What makes this one stand out is the quality of the bar service and bar food. Victoria runs a great bar supported by Rose in the kitchen. Nachos were delicious. Wings were great too. Good to see a great work ethic isn't totally dead. Keep up the great work.”
