“The location is a little scary at night, but the hotel and the service are very good. Just keep in mind that they do charge an additional, fully refundable security fee.”

“Stayed here for one night. It was a good experience. The hotel has a nice charm to it and the service is very good. I like the option to text that was provided. You can ask for anything and they respond quickly. The rooms are quite comfortable and spacious enough. The Bistro Bar was nice but the rooftop was closed for renovations on our visit. The only negative I’d say would be the breakfast. The bacon and sausages weren’t very good. If you’re looking for a nice boutique hotel on the eastside, this is a great option.Rooms: Charming, comfortable and cleanFood & drinks: The bistro bar is a very nice vibe. Cocktails were great!”

“I stayed here for 1 night as I had an overnight layover. I'd absolutely recommend. The room was clean (I inspected closely for hair, bedbugs, dirt and found nothing). The room had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a shower cap, face wash, and a bar of soap, along with the other normal things like Kleenex and toilet paper (of which extras were also left). The room had a couch, desk, and a bed, along with microwave and a fridge. There was an alarm clock as well and they offer a wake-up call service. Everything was great. The sheets were nice. Bed was clean. I'll admit the bed was too soft for me (I sunk into it) but I slept well anyway. The hotel was quiet. The grab and go breakfast was great. They offered croissants, yogurts, and a variety of packaged snacks like cookies, bars, etc along with juice and coffee. Very convient. The shuttle service was good. The woman driving was incredibly kind and friendly. The only area of improvement here might be to have a second shuttle as it took 50 minutes from when I called to finally be picked up. That was quite a wait but there is only 1 shuttle and traffic can be a nightmare, so.Overall, great experience and I would recommend others to stay here. The area/neighbourhood is quiet. I travelled solo as a woman and felt safe in the hotel (though I did not venture out alone, out of the hotel).”

“Really enjoyed our stay here!We were here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary- and they were so thoughtful. They left a balloon, chocolates, and a hand written card on our door. The room itself was a Deluxe King - had a tub, heated floors, bathrobes, modern TV, automatic curtains! Staff were great and area was so close to so many things that we always wanted to visit downtown Toronto. Would easily recommend!!”

“I have been going to Stillwater for years before Renos. My first visit back since the updates! No hot tub or pods but the space was lovely. The waiting area rest lounge was comfortable and there are delicious desserts. The menu rotates but lucky me the caramel black sesame tarts and scones were amazing! Sloan teas and some juices are available to order and free of charge. The wet and dry sauna in the change room were great. The space is smaller but the service is still top notch and a wonderful spa experience.”

“I'm giving this place 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star hotel, but because when you compare it to a homeless shelter like Seaton House, this hotel looks a lot better. If you're a normal person, visiting the city, DON'T STAY HERE, this is not the place for you. This hotel is for the homeless, escorts & drug addicts. It's not meant for tourists or anyone who owns or rents a place to live. This is for people who are in dire situations in life & would rather pay a cheap price for a private room & a warm bed, instead of going to a homeless shelter”

“The staff are so professional in the bar. The cocktails are very well made - both complex and delicious. The bar is a great place to lounge around and enjoy the surroundings. The nuts with the drinks goes down well too.”
