Rowe Farms - Bloor West is a favourite place for top notch, fresh meat, dairy, condiments, and prepared foods. The beef is grass fed, antibiotic free, and organic, though prices can be steep. It is considered a gem and a premium Toronto institution with the best quality products on every level. The staff are wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, always obliging, welcoming, and ready to serve with a smile. They are accommodating, listen to feedback, and provide excellent service, such as holding items for customers.
I bought their boneless skinless chicken breasts last week and roasted them as I usually do. They were without a doubt the most tender, juicy, and flavourful chicken breasts I’ve had in years. The prices are higher than a grocery store and the quality makes it all worthwhile.

The beef and chicken that I purchase from Rowe is better tasting and fresher. I originally came because of their policy of treating the animals more humanely and being free of hormones and additives like bovaer, but now I am coming because of the quality and taste of the meat.

Lukas has been incredibly helpful and accommodating. Ever since I moved down here this has been my new spot and it hasn't disappointed. Staff are wonderful and the steaks are top notch
