Scotiabank

Banks
Hours: Scotiabank is a global bank serving customers in Canada and the Americas, offering a wide range of services including bank accounts, loans, and mortgages. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful service provided by staff members. One reviewer praised an employee named Chris for helping young clients open accounts and providing valuable advice. Another noted the excellent assistance from an advisor named Jay during account setup, which was a much better experience compared to other banks like National Bank or TD. Customers also value the convenience of 24/7 online banking and the mobile app. However, there are some complaints. One customer mentioned an issue with a coin roll at the branch, which contained a foreign coin, leading to a minor inconvenience. Another expressed frustration after a cashback limit was decreased without warning or explanation, and their attempts to get answers from the branch manager went unanswered. Despite these issues, many reviewers highlight the attentive and caring service, especially from staff like Shaya, who went above and beyond to assist and make clients feel valued. Overall, Scotiabank is recognized for its helpful staff, convenient services, and positive customer experiences, although some customers have faced communication and service inconsistencies.
