Value Village, a Savers brand, is a for-profit, global thrift retailer offering great quality, gently used clothing, accessories and household goods. Their Rethink Reuse® business model of purchasing, reselling and recycling gives communities a smart way to shop and keeps more than 700 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. They also help more than 100 nonprofit organizations by purchasing donated goods from them, which provides a source of revenue to help supports their vital community programs and services. Value Village operates over 300 locations and has 20,000 employees.
The Value Village store on Queen St in Toronto is considered a smaller, cuter shop compared to their larger locations. It seems to retain its staff, which makes customers feel good about shopping there. While it may take a couple of visits to find something you like, the store offers a mix of new items and vintage finds. Prices could be a bit better since the products are donated, but the store is clean and well-organized. Seniors aged 60 and above can enjoy a 30% discount on Tuesdays, although the store tends to be crowded on those days. The store also has a helpful donation center in the back, and customers who donate can receive a 20% coupon that is valid until December 2026.
So much stock and the judgements are left at the door. Parking is plentiful. Anything I've ever needed I've found there.... except for disposable things, underwear, love and that's all

I frequent here for decor pieces and occasionally for clothes. Often times I score some great pieces that I'm happy with. The employees and security are quite friendly as well.

One of my favourite Value Village locations, I have been shopping here for 15+ years and I haven’t seen any drop in quality. Always lots of neat finds :)
