“We move to St Charles in Dec 2012. We had to renovate and several times I had to get hardware, plumbing, electrical items. After 5 1/2 years, I have only experienced 3 - 4 times that I was unable to get what I needed. The grocery that are available are amazing. The meat department, offers fresh well cut items as well as the fruit and veg dept. The deli counter offers a great variety of meats and cheeses and hot items for a quick lunch and a area to eat indoors. They also have a card lock gas bar for your convenience. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“If I could give 10 stars I would, this place is frequented by those in the neighbourhood, university students, and anyone stopping through the area. The staff is really friendly, helpful, and when I didn’t have a mask during the provincial mandate I asked a friend to step inside and buy one for me. They gave me a reusable one on the house and wouldn’t accept my money for it. Even now I have it still. The last few times I’ve been in, friendly service, good product selection, and overall a nice shop in the heart of Sunnyside. Definitely worth going if you need anything from the local store.”

“I love old school convenience stores. The more retro, the more I love it. Silver City Food Market is one of those stores. In the back it looks like a regular convenience store, but there's a food counter at the front and wooden shelving that looks very 1970s, maybe even earlier? Lol. The owner told me they just took over the store, so there has been a recent change in ownership (as of September 2023). I got some samosas. I asked if they had any baked ones, but unfortunately they only had fried ones. Nonetheless, I got a beef and a chicken ($2.50 each). They were both tasty, but I preferred the chicken. The owner said he also likes the chicken ones more, haha. The chicken samosa has chopped up chicken, peas, onions and spices. The beef samosa has ground beef, peas, onions and spices. I found the beef samosa a bit too salty. The chicken one was perfect. The dough wasn't too thick, but it was a bit greasy. I would have preferred baked ones ;) They also sell Biryani for $20 a container. They also sell pizza. They had a sign on the side of the store that a slice of pizza and a drink was $4.99. I'll need to check this out sometime. The owner said that they will be selling sandwiches soon as well. I feel like this place has a lot of potential. And the owners are so nice. I'm hoping they do well.”

“This was my first visit. Excellent shop with lots of great importeded food and snacks in a small market area. They also have a restaurant with a variety of food items. Didn't order any food this visit, but I hope to try their menu on my next visit to Ottawa.”

Smoke crack infront of everyone and especially children. Empty pipe cracks litter the neighborhood. Safe Injection site next block seems to attract low life people.”

“Not all Circle K's are equal. Some are definitely better than others in terms of selection and service. I love this Circle K. Good selection and service is efficient and courteous.This Circle K is attached to an Esso gas station. It also has a car wash. It has a Tim Hortons Express, which is basically just Tim Hortons donuts. It has a mini Froster station, so just 2-4 different flavours. It's pretty well stocked as a convenience store. Prices are comparable to other convenience stores. The location is by a roundabout, so not my favourite, as I don't like roundabouts, lol, but that's the only drawback.”

“Great service from W O Stinson today. We suddenly and unexpectedly had to have our propane turned off around 1pm today leaving us (2 seniors) without heat or hot water. The lovely young lady in the office called me less than 2 hours later to say they had located the part we needed, sent someone to pick it up and would be installing it before end of day today.
