“A decent Homesense. I went in looking for wrapping paper and a vase or a platter. No luck on the vase or platter. A few there but a little tacky for my liking. I found the one in Ancaster had a better selection but I haven’t been there for a while.I did find nice wrapping paper at a fairly good price. The lineup was very quick and the girl behind the counter was both pleasant and helpful.I do recommend this location if looking for most, but not all items you may be hoping a Homesense carries.”

“We brought our vehicle in regarding engine issues and Jeff the Service Manager informed us of a Engine recall on Hyundai and Kia vehicles. Hyundai ended putting a new engine in at n/c. If it wasn't for Jeff we wouldn't have known this and we would have to pay for a new engine. Thanks again Jeff.”
“My wife and I are having family over in July and the old furnace and air conditioner just wasn’t doing the job . Had Cassandra come to the house and explained what we would need. Two days later Wes and crew showed up and installed furnace and air conditioner. The guys did a fantastic job even in the poor weather conditions we were having. “I went there last Saturday July 4. Made a big purchase for my home here in Hamilton. I was in town to design my home and needed a lot of stuff. The staff and manager were amazing. They helped me with all my items, they were patient, and assisted me with bringing my items to the front counter, and to the vehicle Im so happy with all my furniture and home decor. “On behalf of all Giant Tiger shoppers please stop setting up Cogeco in these stores!!!! No one likes it lol. Other then that, this is my favorite store! I love the set up of the store, the jewelry, house holds, and clothing. They tend to run out of grocery stock as this location quickly because of where its located but I dont mind. The workers are hard working and friendly. They have great clearance and it's my go to store at Christmas time. Wish they would reduce hours on Sundays like Walmart but its okay. Great store!”
“I love this location. The auto team, the store team, the everything-you-need assortment in a location that's so convenient for so many people. I used to live around the corner from here and even though I'm about a 30-45 minute drive away, I'll still go to this location for my car. I've tried the location closest to me and had a bad experience. I've tried some in the middle and they're better, but this team is just a bunch of good guys who do honest work.”

“I want to specifically recognize and defend the staff at this Winners location. Today the store was extremely busy, and despite that, all available cash registers were open and employees were working efficiently, calmly, and professionally.
It was disappointing to witness a customer directing frustration at staff who were clearly doing everything possible. The team handled the situation with patience and respect. Customers should remember that employees are people, not targets for misplaced anger.

“My brother noticed that there were some Christmas items for sale such as Christmas trees and capybara plushies in Santa hats, but he only purchased 2 of the Christmas trees. The sales associate who cashed him out was so friendly and helpful. I saw a variety of Funko Pops, Squishmallows, Nommis and Pop Mart collectibles and there are also snacks such as chocolate, candy, cookies and many other items available here!”
“This store is amazing-Located in a huge parking area, next to the Dollarama Store. It has everything, clothing, food and many other grocery items at competitive, reasonable prices. The staff on hand is friendly and accommodating. They also carry extra large sizes of clothing for the larger people. Sell shirts, sweaters, P.J.’s, coats, underwear, hats, pants, jogging/rugby pants, socks etc. for all seasons. Also carry linen, and bedding needs. Have many refrigerated food items too, milk, butter, margarine, eggs etc. Just like a small grocery/clothing store all in one.”

“The Auto Service team did an exceptional job today on installing my new tires and my alignment. Excellent customer service at the front desk with the manager and his team. Everyone was professional and talked me through each step and reviewed the invoice ensuring I understood everything. They were completed on time and called me when the work was done right away. “Peggy in the paint department was absolutely amazing! She took the time to thoroughly explain the differences between the various gloss options. I originally chose one gloss, but after Peggy asked thoughtful questions about where I’d be painting, how lighting would affect the wall, and what overall look I was going for, she helped me find the perfect colour and the most appropriate gloss for the room. She even showed me how the paint looks wet versus dry, which was incredibly helpful. Peggy clearly cares about her job and genuinely enjoys helping customers who may not have extensive knowledge. She deserves a raise Canadian Tire!”

“I have never done a review for a pharmacy before, but feel compelled to do so for the excellent service by the staff. I did a walk-in asking if they could do a flu vaccination for our family. They were incredibly helpful, and patient with me as I tracked down my family in Walmart, all through the paperwork (and tracking down health card numbers). The pharmacist was friendly and sorted us out. I would come here again.”
“They did great they were quick they would’ve got a five star but I ordered that $10 photo book 20 photos and it came with advertisement photos in there two of them that we had to like cut out and you can tell they’re being cut I do believe it was an accident but if it’s not next day and it’s really poor service because every package of photos had two photos of advertisements, and it was a package with the photo book still have two pages of advertisements photos however, there’s also two in the book I am very upset by that it was a Christmas gift. It was embarrassing.”

“THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST. Genuinely, if I could give them a 5 star rating every day for the rest of my life, I would. Had the absolute WORST of car issues happen to me (an unfortunate case of improperly installed brakes from a previous shop) — they were honest with the diagnosis, and realistic about my options — they gave me a rundown, costs, and an explanation for all of my questions. No stereotypical “here’s a girl we can soak money off of” kind of situation. They were all attentive, patient, timely, and honest. And even helped me in a pinch when I needed it most. Integrity runs deep in this shop — And honestly it’s refreshing to see guys that very clearly care about their customers and the cars they drive. Forever grateful for these guys. If you’re ever in need of a shop with techs that know their stuff and won’t try to charge you an arm and leg for automotive service, give them a call. I personally wouldn’t trust anyone but them!”
