“Good parts and responsive staff. Only issue is that if you live in USA, be prepared to pay double with the import tariff. Which I would have been reminded of this before my purchase but it’s not BlackBlitz fault. However, they should disclose that when you are checking out. Also, inventory with this company is an issue. They only have about 1/3 of the items they list in stock. Otherwise great company.”

“This is very overdue because this happened back in August, but I have to give the biggest shoutout to Rhonda, the assistant store manager, at Michaels in Waterloo. I showed up with minimal notice, an overly ambitious party vision, and external balloons that Rhonda pretty much knew were not going to work with their machines. She humored me and tried anyway…and when they, predictably, did not cooperate, she immediately started helping me figure out how to make a ridiculous sparkly-balloon vision happen another way. I wanted clear balloons that sparkled and lit up the party, so Rhonda helped me transform the clear balloons I brought into water balloons, figured out how I could attach my little sparkly lights to the other balloons we selected to have a similar effect, and took the time to teach me how to do it all. She arranged everything beautifully, helped me get it all together, and even thought about how to bag everything so I could get it into my car without destroying it. At every step, she could have literally just said, “Sorry, we can’t do that”, but she kept finding ways to help, and with such excellence that I am excited to plan another party just so I can get supplies from Michael’s. Rhonda went so far above and beyond what I could reasonably have expected. This photo does not do justice to the set-up, but I do believe that Rhonda is a regional treasure.”
