“Was in Unionville for the first time yesterday and had no intentions of purchasing anything as many boutiques are very pricey and poor quality. I was pleasantly surprised as prices were extremely reasonable. There was a variety of jewelry and other goods. Ended up buying two pieces of jewelry and I’m excited to wear them. The sales lady mentioned she’s owed a piece from this shop for years and it still looks brand new. Hoping this is true as I’ll definitely be back!”
“It’s a very small space but there is a huge selection. My main issue with collecting die cast such as hot wheels was that many stores never stocked them and many would be ripped out or impossible to find. Here there is a wide variety of brands such as Tomica, BMC and MiniGT. And it’s easier to drive out here than to pay an outrageous Customs Tax. I must say I was happy with my Tomica Hummer H2 as it even had a fully working suspension. I would however like to see larger scales as I was unable to see them on their website either.”

“I’ve been shopping at Lou Lou’s since they were located in Historic Unionville. Due to their new location on Markham Road, I’m unable to visit as often. But when I do, I always pick up a few things. It’s definitely a boutique experience, with limited sizes, but that’s the fun of it!! Some of my favourite dresses and sweaters come from Lou Lou’s. I’d say the experience is similar to TNT only with a more affordable price point. Lori and staff are always super welcoming, and she even gave me a credit that I need to use soon!”
“No trip to Uxbridge is complete without visiting Threads. This adorable little shop has an amazing selection of unique fashion and accessories suitable for everyone. I have never walked out of there empty handed. The hardest part is deciding what you can live without! Make sure you check out the sale racks too…there are always awesome deals waiting to be scooped up. You can’t beat the service, atmosphere, and selection of small, local businesses.”

Not to trash anyone but the keswick location had told me in the same day that I am not able to do a return as someone else had bought pants for my boyfriend. As for uxbridge location was very polite.”
“Wish I could give this store more than 5 stars. It's one of my sister's favourite shops and I bought her a gift card, however I live downtown, so I did it over the phone. Given the hectic nature of this time of year (Christmas), I had to plan a trip out to Markham, but the owners offered to drop it off for me. They put it in a beautiful box and gift bag with a tag. Class act move, and my sister is ecstatic without me leaving the house. You really don't get that type of customer service anymore. I've never even been there, and I love this place. Keep supporting our small businesses like Eleven Joseph Fashions. They really make a difference in making you feel special.”

“Love this Winners, for multiple reasons. Firstly, it’s not nearly as crowded as the Winners or Marshall’s you would find inside the mall. Less people means there is more stock and inventory to look at. Secondly, the staff here are super friendly and nice. I much prefer the staff here to the staff who work at the Winners down the road at Markville Mall. Lastly, they have a really large variety of makeup and clothing items. It’s great place to come when you are looking to find a gift or to grab something really quick.
The only critique I would have to point out is that their home and living section is really small compared to the Winners at Markville. They don’t have nearly as much stuff and it’s not as well organized as Markville’s either. It’s definitely worth a visit though, especially if you are trying to find some makeup, skin care or hair are on a budget.
They also have some really cute plushies!”

“A few months ago I was lucky enough to be helped by Kajol at the Markville location. The reason it was still in the back of my head to write a post after several months have gone by was because she was so kind to me and went above and beyond to help me with an item that they did not have in the store. This was also my experience at the Upper Canada Mall locations, on 2 different occasions where I did not feel like I needed a trusted friends opinion as it felt like Ruth was helping me as a friend rather than a salesperson. This made me trust her more and made me want to purchase my items with confidence. The level of kindness they offered me was heart warming, Thanks Kajol and Ruth, your kindness was not forgotten.”

“Roots carries a lot of high quality comfort and loungewear these days. Their sweatpants and sweat shorts are top tier in terms of softness and style. I know Old Navy likes to position itself as great for the whole family but Roots often makes the same things for men's, women's and kids!They don't have a ton of sales in their regular stores but I went in anyways. They have a super cute "Beaver Canoe" line right now. There are sweatshirts with and without hoods, and in a lot of colours. They even have a beaver plushie in matching hoodie. You know I had to get one of these.All of the staff were really helpful on this shopping experience. I wanted to try on my new threads so they helped me with a change room, then helped me unlock the changeroom when I accidentally locked myself out. They also weren't pushy which made for a comfortable shopping experience.”
