“I met Nancy several years ago... she was extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional. I purchased a couple prints and she also did some custom framing for my military decorations... I would highly recommend Nancy for anything photo related!”
“Truly....a gem!Stumbled upon this store by accident, and to our luck... it's a wonderful place. Many unique and thoughtful gifts.I was pleasantly surprised by the selection... especially items for Michigan lovers! I have a few people from out of state, that I plan on going back to buy for...a wonderful ornament for their Christmas tree.Definitely worth stopping by, browsing, and buying. I adore stores like this. A must try!!”
“Fantastic! No wonder art collectors are talking about Schinkel Fine Art!Not sure which is more inspiring and incredible: the groundbreaking genre of art created by Teddy and Linda Schinkel or the gorgeous historic Detroit space at the Moross House where they create their work! Quite incredible that we are living in the day and age to see an entire new genre of art being born in Detroit.I'm captivated by Schinkel Fine Art (SFA) representing this mother/son team. Metalgram - museum-worthy mixed media is worth the visit. Teddy is pushing the envelope with NFTs and other genres. I'm ready to own a piece, please!Love Schinkel art!”
“Magical space created by 2 beautiful souls and inhabited by artists from all walks of life! Kozma and Motu have poured so much energy into making the place just as vibrant and inviting as they are. They not only display and sell their own art work, but also provide a stage for other artists to perform gigs aswell ? Hope to see this place thrive and continue to flourish in years to come. Much love and best wishes to all their endevours?”

17005 Kercheval Ave, Grosse Pointe“Wow!!! The artwork of Jason Kimble and Ariana Fate was mind blowing! The Three Year Mandala by Jason is my clear favorite- the extraordinary detail is amazing. Ariana's Raven Spirit and Two Headed Crow were awesome too. You have to come see their work!”
“This is a wonderful gallery. A lively place that brings artists together...adding to a great community feel. Alice is sweet, and she has orchestrated an awesome art show, "When Nature Calls" opening tonight!”
“Excellent gallery. What better way to support this organization than to head down there and pick up some art created by our local artists. Your empty walls will thank you.”
“This is a rather splendid historic building that the casual visitor can walk in and peruse. There is art on display, and the option to sit for a bit. A bar in the back was of unclear purpose to me; is it used for evening events or is it meant to be some kind of art piece in and of itself? The art was worth a look, and it wasn't any hassle or cost to get in.”
“I love unique spaces and this is one. Its a home that has been renovated as an art gallery in the north end of a neighborhood. Its a welcomed addition to the Detroit community as it boasts & host art mediums by local & international artists. Some very wonderful pieces are displayed here that you will find nowhere else. Stop by when in the area.”
“What a great experience. We had 2 special projects for our boys Christmas presents and Eric created a masterpiece. We will only frame things here from now on. He offers suggestions and concepts that turn out great.”

444 W Willis St UNIT 111, Detroit“This is a nice gallery but it's small and has pretty limited hours - 22 hours a week over 4 days right now. They've been around a long time and it seems like they showcase pretty old school artists here, too. The last show I attended here was for venerable Cass Corridor artist Robert Sestok. I tend to forget about this gallery, tucked back into a little storefront spot on the ground floor of a loft building. It's location and small size make it good for gallery hopping, though. Detroit Artists Market is nearby and the evening I made it to the Sestok opening here I also checked out an opening at the MOCAD. I'd also recommend checking to see when openings are as they'll likely be open later and you can see the space buzzing with people.”
Open 24 hours
5926 Lincoln St, Detroit“colorful street, paradise to photographers. I had different experience with feeling alone in this art gallery, I noticed only two couple was walking with their dog. No one to disturb for my photography may be this is not much famous place. I don’t had any security issues. These paintings are very colorful and something very special but I am not expert to explain that feeling. I think, during winter, it would be more colorful with white background. Thanks for all painters.”
“They did a little arts and crafts day camp for the kids. My daughter who is very hard to please couldn't wait to go back every day. Will definitely send her again next year”
“A great place to visit for an extensive array of Michigan art, plus a few pieces from around the world. Patt Slack and Jeremy Hansen are also very involved with and conversational on design projects. Truly a local treat with functional purpose.”
“I got a lavender latte and a piece of babka and they were both delicious. They heated up the babka which made it extra tasty. It is very beautiful inside the cafe.”
“Being from the suburbs, we've never had exposure to any place like this. We meet the owner and a few others. Conversation was engaging and the atmosphere was relaxed. We came during the day on bikes and had no concerns at all. Go there, you'll have a rich time.”
“I love going to all the events; the Garden Party, the Halloween Party, etc. Make it a point to see the art shows! They always select some of the most beautiful and unique art pieces to showcase. See you there!”
“The owner, Sheba, is so personable, warm, and friendly. I love this space. It's so conveniently close to my neighborhood. Wish more neighbors would utilize and invest time and money into the space.”
“Very interesting place. The event I attended was an art exhibit. Senior artists created a plethora of art in a variety of mediums. The facility as a whole is well thought out with space for activities and personal care assistance. I was informed they offer advocate services, mentorship and community fellowship events. Parking is readily available and easy to access. I really enjoyed the event”
“Local street art & neighborhood museum ! Not as expansive as it was before all the house fires. Lost alot of history but still a nice place to check out a community working together through the arts!”
“Excellent courteous staff.Beautiful and well lit. Excellent curation. Informative information on hand about the artist on exhibition.Highly recommended. Always a pleasant and informative experience.”
“A sick broken down looking factory style building on the outside. Inside a great space for concerts and other events. Saw tied down 2023 here and i will be coming back.”

715 E Milwaukee Ave, Detroit“I love the Tangent Gallery. It's a vibrant cultural center in midtown Detroit, popular with musicians and artists. They host a wide range of shows, featuring both local and national touring artists. The drink prices are pretty reasonable too. The only minor issue is the lack of dedicated parking, so it's wise to be mindful about where you park.”
“The cutest store with everything you need! They also host amazing events, including conventions and photo opportunities! They have a ton of local business products that they sell, which allows you to support so many amazing people in the community at once”
