“If you have a time-sensitive move or relying on consistent communication and predictable delivery this may not be the best option. Although we appreciate the efforts made to address our concerns after escalation.
We chose Interlane based on positive reviews and arranged transport of our vehicle from Toronto to Calgary. We were quoted a delivery window of 5–15 business days and dropped the vehicle off on May 19, with the understanding that we would be notified once it was dispatched.
Instead, communication was poor from the outset. For nearly two weeks, we received little meaningful information. Multiple calls were required to obtain updates, many were not returned, and we were repeatedly told the vehicle was still sitting in their lot. In one instance, two different representatives returned the same call, suggesting a lack of internal coordination.
By June 4 (12 business days after drop-off), the vehicle had still not been dispatched. At that point, it was clear the original timeline would not be met. We requested cancellation and release of the vehicle if it was not loaded within 24 hours, along with a refund.
Following the escalation, we were connected with a dispatcher who said he was unaware of the delay and confirmed the vehicle would be loaded that day. Communication improved significantly afterward, and we received daily updates and photos.
The vehicle was ultimately transported between June 4 and June 10 and delivered on June 10. While we appreciated the improved communication after escalation.
Edit: After posting our original review, Interlane contacted us, acknowledged the issues we experienced, and offered a partial refund. We appreciate that they took our concerns seriously and made an effort to address them. While this gesture does not change the difficulties we encountered or the delay in transporting our vehicle, it was a positive step toward resolving the matter.
In summary, the vehicle was delivered in good condition and we appreciate the partial refund and the improved responsiveness after our concerns were raised.”
