“okay so I come to 7-Eleven a lot, but today I literally met the most nicest employee on earth. I’m not sure what their name was but they had blond hair or dirty blond and had like a small beard. BEST PERSON EVER”

“I really meant to share this experience in August as I really feel it's an important experience to share. So i was in Woodstock in August. I went into Walmart for a minute and when I came out my truck wouldn't start. I assumed it was out of fuel so I pushed it down the parking lot to the Canadian Tire Gas Bar. I put fuel in and still it wouldn't start. The employee inside said to just push the truck forward into 1 of the only 2 parking spots on site. I spent most of that night unable to figure out what was wrong with my truck. The gas bar closed but I was allowed to remain over nightThe next morning a different employee and the manager came into find me there. Both were very nice and didn't complain even a little at the mess I had made, or about my tools, etc all over. In fact they were very friendly and offered help where they could, even bringing me drinks. What happened next is the real part of this story.Well into day 2 at the Canadian Tire Gas bar the manager, Jay comes out and brings me a drink and says he needs to talk to me. He advises me that someone from Canadian Tire corporate had noticed me there and I couldn't work on my truck there. The problem was though, to get out of the parking lot you need to go up a pretty big hill. There was no way I could push my truck up.Walmart doesn't care if you sleep in their parking lot so I needed to get my truck up the hill to Walmart, but I had a big issue. Truck wouldn't run and I was pretty much out of money. I told Jay I was kind of screwed as I only had the money I had on me, I didn't have my bank card or anything. To my surprise Jay offered to pay for a tow truck to tow my truck up the hill at a cost of about $80 bucks. But Jay didn't stop here.Realizing I was serious about being out of money Jay told me to sit tight for a minute. When he returned he handed me $300 in cash out of his own pocket. He told me to get what I needed to fix my truck and get home. I told him he didn't need to do this but he insisted. I was litterally blown away by this man's generosity and willingness to help out a complete stranger. It really help to give me renewed hope in the human race. I didn't think there were people like him out there anymore. But oddly enough 2 years ago at another Canadian Tire Gas bar ear Cornwall, Ontario an employee there should me his goodwill as well, not with money but just as big in terms of the way I viewed the situation. Both these men should be given some sort of award by Canadian Tire and if I have anything to say about it they will..”
