I’ve taken Reggie, my Husky mix, to a few different groomers over the years and every other groomer took much longer, cost more money, and sometimes even shaved my sweet boys fluff after I asked them not to. And, I love that Reggie isn’t kept in a kennel when they aren’t actively grooming him. They also always have time to pop out to my car and trim my less friendly dog’s nails so I don’t have to take him inside around the other dogs. Won’t be taking my dogs anywhere else ever again.

Land of Paws
1525 OR-99, AshlandBlue has been coming to Land of Paws whenever he’s in Grandma’s care, but this visit really stood out to me. As he’s gotten older, they recognized his changing needs and adjusted his grooming so they wouldn’t over-stress him. They had me stay with him while they trimmed his nails, and Blue did great. The nail trimming was quick, calm, and easy.
What impressed me most was that they didn’t treat Blue like just another appointment. They treated him as an individual, taking the time to understand what would help him feel safe and comfortable. That level of compassion and attentiveness is something you don’t often find.
Thank you for the thoughtful, compassionate care you continue to give Blue. It means so much to know my granddog is in the hands of people who truly see him and care for him as an individual. 🐾💙

Really impressed with her depth of knowledge and so grateful her practice is just down the street from our home. Thanks to the whole Bear Creek Animal Clinic.

1525 OR-99, AshlandDr. Albrecht and the entire team at Animal Medical Hospital are doing such a wonderful job. I was able to get my senior cat in very quickly in an emergency type situation. Being on a budget, they went above and beyond to help me and my furry friend with donated medications and discounts. So much gratitude for offering crucial life saving skills for our loved ones in the Ashland community. Dr. Albrecht is a very knowledgeable veterinarian I would trust my babies with anytime. 1590 Delta Waters Road Suite 100, MedfordI’ve been a fan of Indulge Artisan Cheesecake since they opened in Ashland and I am pleased to go to Medford for them now. Rick is nothing short of an artist. They announced Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake a few weeks ago and I got around to trying it tonight. Out of this world good. New York will always be my favorite, and I’d go out of my way for their Carrot Cake Cheesecake, but this was just the perfect balance of the best of a Pineapple Upside Down cake mixed with a fabulous cheesecake. I don’t know how they keep coming up with these. Seriously don’t miss out on these desserts. The best of love, care, and attention to detail; oh and did I mention taste!

141 Will Dodge Way, Ashland100% worth the drive from Portland. 9 courses, 6 were among the best I've ever had. Better than any 1-star place I've been to and all but one 2**. I posted a full review on r/finedining (I think the only one for Mas so should be easy to find), but in short: tied for my #1 restaurant in the PNW with Nodoguro, absolutely tremendous flavors. Highly recommend the n/a and sake pairings, both were exactly what drink pairings should be, really amplifying the flavors in the food.

691 Fair Oaks Avenue, AshlandThe people at Carlito’s were incredibly kind. There were many regulars while we were there. A local friend gave us advise early into our stay in Ashland to find restaurants away from the downtown before shows, which we took to heart on this trip. This was 4-5 minute leisurely drive and from our hotel. Most of the people there were also going to shows afterwards and discussing what they had seen and were going to.
The Pesto Fettuccine and pizzas were amazing. Definitely will be coming back.

57 North Main Street, AshlandFriendly service. Their pastries are delightful. Chocolate croissant is 🤌🏻. The fruit tart is tasty, although I would not get again - wish it had more fruit instead of butter cake, and a sour profile, as a contrasting option to their many sweet/rich/creamy offerings. Hope this suggestion is considered for future confections! Additionally, the tiramisu is a winner; and today, I have a coconut pie waiting to be tasted.
The lattes are yummy, but the baristas use conventional Umpqua dairy, whereas nearby competitors use Alexandre A2 dairy for same price or even less (especially since the competitors offer a 12 oz default latte size).
Four stars for advertising organic dairy for their ice cream while quietly using conventional dairy in their coffee drinks. In the future, I'll return for pastries and go elsewhere for coffee.

Oregon Cabaret Theatre
241 Hargadine St, AshlandThe food was slightly underwhelming, but it was a Robin Hood themed menu, so they were kind of in a box in their defense. However, everything else was perfect. I took my daughter, an aspiring singing and dancing 9 year old and she was spellbound. I asked a server if it was possible to thank the cast personally after the show. She came back after a moment and said we could say hi at the side stage door. They ALL came out and graciously introduced them selves to myself and most importantly to my daughter who gushed in which they gave their full and most polite attention to. I quietly teared up in the background as I watched a seed taking root in her. I dont know if they knew just how important that few minutes they gave of their time was, but it meant worlds to me and universes to her. All the staff autographed a themed mug and presented it to her as well. 1000/10. We will be back.
