“I was traveling through Baker City last week, and unfortunately I left my glasses on the sink in the restroom. I didn’t realize I didn’t have them until we were well on our way. When I got home (Caldwell)— I called the store and spoke with Christine who promptly mailed them to me. She refused payment, and I was so blessed to receive the glasses shortly after. She is a wonderful person, and we will always do business there because of her.”

“A very interesting store in Baker City. We were going through Baker City on our way to the Eagle Cap Wilderness and needed to get a few last items, namely DEET. First we went to Bimart but they were completely sold out so they recommended York's. Kind of hard to describe this place. A mix between a general store, convenience store, outdoors store, and hardware store, but also with lots of guns for sale. A real American place. We weren't expecting the large food selection there and we had just eaten breakfast, otherwise we definitely would have digged in. There was a good selection of fried foods, but they also had a robust sandwich menu. We were able to get our DEET and a couple other small items. If you need a place for a quick bite and you're by Baker City, York's is definitely the spot.”
