“If you think a truck stop is just a place to pump gas and grab a stale granola bar, you clearly haven’t experienced the Maverick.
First of all, the fuel island setup deserves its own award. The window washing station isn’t some sad, half-empty bucket of mystery water with a shredded squeegee. No, this is a fully operational windshield spa experience. Clean water. Functional squeegees.
It’s the kind of detail that tells you: these people care. When you pull back onto I-84 with a crystal-clear windshield and the Idaho sunshine pouring in, it feels like you leveled up your entire road trip.
Then you walk inside… and you’re greeted by what can only be described as The Great Wall of Caffeine.
An entire refrigerated section lined top to bottom with every energy drink, cold brew, and neon-colored performance beverage known to modern civilization. If you can’t find the exact flavor of whatever high-octane liquid motivation you’re looking for here, it probably hasn’t been invented yet. It’s not a drink cooler, it’s a monument to productivity.
Hanging there in all their chaotic glory like roadside royalty. Equal parts hilarious and iconic. They’re the kind of thing that makes you text a picture to your group chat with zero explanation. Because no explanation is needed. Road trips require absurdity, and Maverick delivers.
Everything is clean, organized, and stocked like they actually expect humans to shop there, which, shockingly, is not always the case in travel centers. The staff is friendly, the layout makes sense, and the vibe is somewhere between “well-run operation” and a roadside legend.”
Five stars.
Clean windshield.
Fully caffeinated.
That’s how a travel stop should be done. ?”
“It’s 4/10 of a mile off of freeway but diesel fuel is at least $.50 per gallon cheaper than shell and pilot the store was clean. Although there is only one sink in the bathroom. Well, worth the extra more tense of a mile.”
“Highlighting the efforts of the amazing miracles that shows up faithfully as the sun. The staff maintenance and grounds keepers went above and beyond d today worth noting and action be taken. Employees of the month. Many thanks and bows of gratitude. Stop in. Support local. Thank those who sirve you. And live a life worth conversation... all smiles. Two thumbs raised as high as my arms can go.”

“Clean men's restrooms (didn't use any other) fully stocked! Friendly and very helpful employee who helped me about 9pm. I wish I had caught her name to give her a rave review. Well lit store and fuel pumps, no pot holes did I notice, very clean looking store and everything was fresh we purchased.”
“Visiting Baker City on business and needed to clean the car this morning so I stopped here for a car wash. All went well, my car looked so much better after it went through the car wash. I decided my inner windows needed help(we brought our dogs and had dog spots all over) so I went inside and a lovely lady welcomed me in. I looked at their car stuff and picked up an air freshener but I could not find something specific for windows. I told her my issue and she was awesome! She grabbed some paper towels and her own window cleaner...look, not everyone would go out of their way. I know this and I thank her. The car smells good and no drool on windows. I did not catch her name but I give her 5 stars.”

“Employees are friendly and the store is clean. Bathrooms are clean as well, and this is honestly more important to me than the rest of the stores cleanliness. Overall, I give them 4.5 stars!”
