(I also bought a nice piece of furniture from her and she was great with that transaction too.) I LOVE the fact she's built several above ground cat shelters so wild cats can get out of the rain, get fed, and get drinks!

900 2nd St SE, BandonWell, I have an older cat. They said he had cancer. I didn't believe it. I started researching and found he had all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism! I had a T4 test done and that's what it was, not cancer.
I like this place though, and plan to stay with them. ☺️. They're pretty good. My kitty loves dr. Hewitt!

He went back and said goodbye to the staff present, usually he's pulling at the leash to get out of the door at other places we've lodged him. He especially likes his bunny head.

The deets: We came in at 7 pm on a Tuesday and the main dining room was taken up by a boisterous group of golfers (a staple this time of year, apparently) so we were seated in the back area which suited us just fine. Service was attentive and genuinely warm, and our server really listened to our preferences and put together a wonderful meal and complementary wine flight. My husband took advantage of their Designated Driver discount and had a variety of mocktails and non-alcoholic options to choose from, which was an elegant touch.
Dinner standouts included the Caesar salad (add anchovies, always) with polenta croutons, local rockfish, buttery white beans with sage, and the most perfectly cooked duck - crispy skin, tender meat, the delicate flavor not masked under heaps of berry compotes or overdone sauces. We were pleasantly surprised by how many gluten-free options were on the menu.
The house made truffles with sea salt and delicate panna cotta were the ideal ways to finish off a wonderful meal.
Thank you to the staff of Alloro! We left perfectly satiated and with a very special memory of our time on the coast.
