1487 US-101 STE B, FlorenceEthical and knowledgeable grooming shop.. As for the 1star review !!! Read between the lines. You are an Unethical breeder. As for the sore!!! This is your fault! The sore is caused from severe matting. When this happens it actually restricts the blood flow to the surrounding tissue. When the Matt is finally removed blood rushes to the area and this causes the dog a tingling sensation like when your arm falls asleep at night. The dog then scratches this area. To further compound the issue this area is already sensitive and damaged from the matting. A groomer uses a short blade to remove the Matt because it's the only way to get under it because of how close it is to the skin the Matt is. This whole situation is preventable with proper home care. The groomer is not at fault at all in this situation and the blame falls squarely on the owners shoulders for her neglect.

Dirty Dog Grooming
1726 US-101, FlorenceI cannot say enough good things about Lisa. And if my dog Pookie could talk, he would have a thing or two to say as well. Pookie is an eight-year-old American Eskimo. They are known to be somewhat high strung. Pookie also suffered some trauma at the hands of a previous groomer. I was having such trouble finding a new dog groomer and some turned me down after the first visit. A friend recommended Lisa at Dirty Dog and I decided to give her a try. I explained Pookie's situation and she was so understanding. She made a special appointment with plenty of time to get to know Pookie. I told her to do what she could and I would understand. Each time she was able to do more and more. By the third trip, she accomplished everything! I talked to other groomers, but oddly enough, it was Pookie who made the decision. Lisa is great and I would recommend her to anyone with a dog who needs special attention.

She gave us updates and more time if need with no additional charge! If you are in the coast and need a place for your fur baby to go while you do a human only thing (undog friendly), i.e. horseback riding at C&M stables....then give her call!!!

435 US-101, FlorenceDo you need a gluten free pancake bigger than your head? Of course you do! This place makes the best pancakes around. I got the blueberry cake and my wife got a regular one. Both are delicious, and yes you will.have plenty of leftovers. Their bacon is thick and cooked perfectly. Eggs are fluffy and cooked with butter. They carry blueberry and strawberry syrups on the table as well as hot maple syrup. They have delicious coffee options including espresso. Don't want breakfast? No problem. This place has a HUGE menu. Plus it's extremely affordable. Get there early. It's always busy for a reason.

4879 Darlings Loop Ste A, FlorenceIt would have gotten 5 stars across the board. The location was beautiful and the little cabin on the lake was so cute. That being said, being told that I couldn’t bring my water with electrolytes into the pub was silly. I drink it for health reasons. Then when challenged about it, straight up lying and saying it was Oregon law as if I, myself, was not an Oregon resident was wild. If you are gonna have rules, just stand by them but don’t lie. It’s ugly to lie. Have a great day!

When items started arriving at our table we were consistently impressed. The N/A cocktail was amazing and the artichoke appetizer blew our minds. My girlfriend is vegetarian so having a selection of dishes for her eating preferences drew us there. The cauliflower steak plate was amazing, sadly they were out of steak so I could not try the carnivore version. Next time I suppose. We will be back when we visit Florence again.

We also had breakfast burritos which tasted fresh and homemade whole also being just enough filling. The staff were very nice and helpful. This was a great morning stop!

Very unique crab shack on the marina docks. They catch the crab, then serve it up. Fresh whole crab served cooked out buy it live. The crab chowder is delicious but the garlic cheese bread is must and worth waiting for. Bread and chowder are the moms recipe. Tragic story of the parents hitting the bar coming back in and the boat rolled. They were both killed so now the sons are carrying on the tradition. Outside seating on platform deck.

2840 Rhododendron Dr, FlorenceExcellent facility. Low pressure. Staff let us take our time learning about the dogs. We found an adorable chihuahua terrier mix. Their dogs seem happy, well socialized and exercised regularly. Great cat area with lots of room to roam and jump.
