“Had a great experience at Ron Tonkin this morning. My husband and I are on a very strict budget at the moment, while I’m changing careers, and are doing the bare minimum of service needed to keep our cars running, at the moment. The woman checking me in, Jennifer Lopez, made me aware of both a service option and a payment option which I did not know about, saving me a lot of time and money today. Thank you for hiring such a pleasant person who went out of her way to help me. So many car dealership employees just brush women aside. It was refreshing to get a good one.

“I've had my share of car trouble and looking for good mechanics in Portland, so I wanted to share a positive experience I had a couple of days ago.
I had an issue with my car and I knew shouldn't drive it, but I couldn’t figure out the exact problem. Since I didn't want to spend the money on a tow just to get a diagnosis, I decided to call up a mobile mechanic. After googling mobile mechanics in Portland for about a half hour, I just chose one that I thought might be good. Turns out it was a GREAT choice.
Courtney from MobilePDX came out quickly and helped me figure it out. His flat rate was affordable, and he stayed for a couple of hours diagnosing the issue. Courtney is easygoing and is super knowledgeable. Later that evening, he even gave me a call to walk me through a few ideas/solutions for what could be going on. Then, he went the extra mile and called my main mechanic to explain what he thought the issue was. Turns out, when I finally got my car to the shop, Courtney was spot on with his diagnosis.
If you’re looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, I can’t recommend Courtney and MobilePDX enough. Seriously, if you need someone great and easy to work with, give him a call.”
“Same Day Auto has been great to me and my 2010 Prius. I initially landed there because Toyota told me that I had about $1000 of things I needed taken care of. I asked around and somebody suggested Same Day Auto. They looked over my car and found it really the only thing that needed to be done on the list that Toyota gave me, was the transmission fluid. And they were right it was very dark and black.
They are fairly priced. I always check online to see what the average price of repairs are when something needs to be done (which isn’t often bc, ya know, it’s a Prius), and they are in that range. It’s great to have a place I can go that I trust. And even though I’m not much of a soda drinker, I love that little stocked fridge they have in the waiting area. :)”

“Yes, go here. I originally took my car in for brakes and the technicians found my steering components a mess. They fixed it up along with an alignment. As I was driving home, I noticed it was still pulling to the right. I immediately called and they asked if I could bring it back first thing in the morning. The technicians realized my alignment was needing an additional fix, and Amado kindly worked with me. Holy moly if Amado didn’t call me before they closed shop to ask how the steering was doing! This type of customer service doesn’t seem to exist much anymore, thank you for the feeling of the past!”

“First off I wanted to take a moment and share some feedback here regarding Ground Clearance Customs. Coming from myself being a small business owner, I know the importance and how critical reviews can be for future prospective customers. I read reviews thoroughly before ever making a decision. Now on to the details.I reached out to Chaz in regards to adding a lift kit to my 2021 Chevy Silverado. The responses I got were nothing but FAST! I almost immediately received quotes around 4-5 different lift brands, including wheels & Tire options.I found a smoking deal online a lift being sold private party, but didn’t have the confidence to pull the trigger. Chaz was nice enough to provide me all the details I needed including doing additional research to help me decide to purchase it. I ordered wheels and tires directly though ground clearance customs and the delivery was very quick (despite the winter weather holding up delivery).Chaz offered me the flexibility to drop off my truck in the late evening with him staying late, and being able to knock it out in 2 days. I had asked for photos of the installation and he sent me MORE photos than I had originally anticipated!!Overall my experience was a 5 star experience and he’s been nothing short of helpful, had amazing communication and been very transparent on expectations. “Brooks s motors continues to impress me with their disregard for profits over quality of customer service.i purchased my dodge charger 3 years ago from them. Recently, i had an issue with a check income light that they addressed without charging me. But from the very beginning, they fixed expensive issues with my car for free that lemon laws could not have protected me from; that's integrity. They did it, I believe, as a matter of pride for their reputation. Some mechanics that I've dealt with in the past would try to solve problems that didn't exist for a profit. Brooks has recommended that I not waste money on issues that I believed were more serious than they really were. I recommend this honest dealership; they're truly hard to find.”
