“They don’t have the largest selection which is unfortunate. There is ALWAYS a friendly, and helpful, staff member around to help (unlike other large hardware retailers). I always stop here first before going anywhere else.”

“I went to the Beaverton store to purchase a Chuck and a bowl gouge. The store was beautifully laid out and I was greeted as I walked in. The Clerk that first greeted me asked what I was looking for and took me to the Wood Lathe section. He took his time to explain the different products and what their uses were. I was pleased with the quality of products and of course the Excellent service. Thank you CORT..”

“The Progress Ridge Ace Hardware store has been a life saver for us during the pandemic. The contactless curbside pickup is amazing and I hope-wish they'd keep the service after the pandemic is over. It's so easy to order and pay online, wait a few minutes for the email telling you your order is ready, and jump in your car to pick up outside the store. We've done quite a bit of sprucing up around the house during COVID since there really isn't that much going on these days. Everything from replacing HVAC filters, to buying paint to repaint the master bathroom, to rejoicing when we found hard-to-find batteries for our Christmas tree lights remote, Ace Hardware has been there for us. We buy our bird feeding supplies at Ace too. I love how all the sales people are knowledgeable about REAL hardware items and issues. Like if you have a plumbing question/issue, someone actually knows the answer and has a solution. Truly amazing customer service. It's true, they aren't the cheapest hardware store and don't stock the biggest variety like the Big Box home stores, but they seem to have everything we need when we need it. Sometimes being close by and convenient is worth paying a tad more for. My husband always gets his "$5 off" coupon in the mail every few weeks and that's a plus ($5 is $5!!!) And just a personal note, I realize the pandemic is over for most people but I do wish masks were still required inside stores. One reason we do curbside is because many employees (and customers) aren't being as careful as they used to and for those of us with underlying health conditions, a mask and social distancing is still a way of life. Ace seems to be a little inconsistent in their COVID best practices. Overall, Ace is pretty OK in my book!”

“Today I was looking for ideas to cover a planter-tub pond on my deck that would keep raccoons out of it at night so they don't eat the fish. I wish I had gotten the name of the very helpful gentleman who walked the store aisles brainstorming ideas for me. He came up with several good ideas and I ultimately went with the pre-cut beveled wood round (that most people would buy to make a side table). It was perfect. This man was extremely helpful, generous with his time, and clearly has excellent problem-solving skills. Yay for me!! Thank you, thank you!!”
