“Love the Atmosphere of Downtown Bend! The Santa Cruz type of Vibe, one has when in Bend really reminds me of when I was a child shopping and traveling with my Grandparents. Nice area to bring the family. There are a noticeable group of those that bring a dirty hippie feeling but they do seem to relegate themselves to a small corner of the downtown area and spew their causes, any hyped up event the can tie to social issues.Overall Bend's Downtown has great shops, Restaurants and Galleries! Wonderful Art Galleries that really bring the flavor of the region to the Forefront of spirit.Todd”

“This place has housed me twice. Once on the singles, and once on the family side. When my family and I ran out of options, we were living in hotels with 4 kids and barely surviving. The Bethlehem inn housed us for a few months and we were able to save our money and put a down payment on a home. Almost 2 years later we still live here in our home and our kids childhood home . I still think about them a lot and how much them and their staff had helped us get on our feet and thought I would post here a review thanking them.”

“My first experience with Shepard house was in 2016. Probably the lowest point in my life financially, mentally, and emotionally. The shepherd house took me in, gave me clothes, shelter, and food. And without their help, I don’t know where things would have gone for me.
I returned to bend three weeks ago. I went to shepherd house today for a shower and a meal. I asked if they had nonslip shoes for a new job I have, but they didn’t have any. Instead Tim Ellis the project share coordinator, took me to Fred Meyer and bought me a new pair of nonslip shoes for my kitchen job. The people that Sheppard house are some of the nicest most generous, caring people I’ve ever met.

“We shop here almost every week rather than go to just summer farmers' markets. The prices are reasonable for organic items. We usually get several vegetables and fruits, local eggs, and often a Farmhouse pie. Being able to get lettuce and greens is almost like having your own garden. Their selections of cheese are great. You also feel good about supporting local farmers and producers. Staff get to know you and are great.Carolyn & Don”

“Sundance Meadows Ranch is a fantastic place to kick back and relax! Acres of BLM land, a fishing pond, pool ,crazy golf course, RC car track, disc golf and miles and miles of trails! Where else can you enjoy all this for the monthly membership of $53 for full hook ups and use of the Lodge and Bunkhouse too? ONE night a a local RV place in the summer is $200! and hotels in Bend are very expensive at peak times! For the monthly fee you can be here for ski season and floating the river in the summer! The membership also includes RV / camper-trailer storage. You cannot beat that!We camp hosted here on and off for three years! Absolutely love the place and the people!”

“Working with Manny at Street Dog Hero has been a dream. He has gone out of his way to answer all my questions and help my family find the perfect fit. He was very kind, understanding, and forthcoming with hiccups that we may have experienced if we did an in home trial with a pup we loved online, but ultimately would have had issues at our place. As well as he answered any questions we had on other pups. We did an income trial with a pup and he was the perfect fit for our family. Manny was very flexible in the trial period to make sure he did in fact work well with the family and resident pets. Jaymie has also been helpful in making sure we could arrange a pickup for our trail and answer all questions while Manny was out of the office.”
